After the design and release of the Lightning-class Modular Starfighter to the market the design team at Hekler'Kok began work on some other ships to market to possible interested parties. While the Lightning had been an attempt to create a fighter to fill every niche the testing found that it did good but didn't excel. It was for this reason that the Hekler'Kok design team began working on a series of craft designed to fit perfectly into each niche that the Lightning tried to fit.
Keeping on the philosophy of mixing various airframe qualities together the design team at Hekler'Kok took the venerable BTL-S3 Y-Wing and Skipray 24r Blastboat and blended the two together. What came from this blending was a heavily armed, armored and defended heavy bomber capable of delivering ordnance while protecting itself.
