DESCRIPTION: The Liberty Fries were launched after the success of the steak frites, whereby customers wanted to eat fries with other meals, and Pizza Hutt higher management decided to offer five cuts of Liberty Fries: regular, wedge, julienne/Caesarean (different names for different regions), beefeater and medallion, with four different serving sizes for each, all of which are air-fried to reduce the health hazards of eating fries, but even then, a token amount of vegetal oil is used to ensure the crispiness and taste of the fries orior to any addition of seasoning, since air-frying potatoes without any oil whatsoever would be tantamount to oven-baking them. Nevertheless, some of the customers on the go seem to be more inclined to eating fries as a stand-alone meal, with some caveats.
