Lucas Traumen was born on Anaxes. He went to the Naval Academy on Anaxes. Once he graduated, he was assigned to headquarters office doing paperwork while dreaming of sailing in the infinite sea of the universe. He was finally assigned to a small patrol ship, mostly patrolling in the atmosphere, sometimes in orbit. He was given his first command when Herlock was looking for volunteers to be the crew of a new ship, which was still in construction by the time Herlock recruited the crew members. Herlock saw a great potential in him and gave him the function of commanding officer of the now completed and operationnal stealth corvette Silencieux. He is now under command of Captain Albrecht Herlock, commanding the Task Force 58
