Nichos Velt danced his heart out.

He made a lot of money from this last job he took from a client: An Twilek merchant who has been harassed by some thugs. The gang has been stealing her merchandise and selling them on the black market. The task was simple: Take out a bunch of those idiots who were about to smuggle her stuff to Tatooie and bring her things back. It didn't take long for Nichos to find the Blue Suns who were about to depart to the Outer Rim. The gang was no match for the best Bounty Hunter in the galaxy, once they were slaughtered. Nichos managed to take the stolen goods to the Twilek merchant who was so thankful that she showered Nichos with a LOT of credits. Excited, Nichos spent the money on his favorite hobby.

Partying.

Taking a big swig of Corellian exported wine, Nichos rocked his head back and forth to the beat. This is a human made remix and an old one at that, but still the beat was very addicting to listen to it helped by the fact that human music is rarely played in the Eternity Bar humans aren't common on this side of the city planet While dancing Nichos briefly observed the dance floor: Mostly new money types dancing the night away. The Eternity Bar is way more rowdy compared to the serene, relaxing mood that it usually is. However Eternity Bar held a rave night of sorts in an effort to attract humans. It seemed to work as there were more humans (mostly obese gullible looking old men) dancing with the Twi'lek dancers.

Nichos screamed along with the crowd into the air as the beat got louder, his body surging with adrenaline as he danced more frantically. It was a time to be alive, Nichos was still in his prime, he got paid and more importantly no Galactic Alliance and their morally questionable bullshit.

Dr. Tatede Truibark was a galactically renowned expert in shield technology, though she did much more than that in her role as Chief Research officer for the Akron Defense Labs. Unfortunately the deals with the Pantoran government were not going through as quickly as expected so Khrusaes Akron Khrusaes Akron encouraged his right hand to take on side deals in the name of ADL, which was not restricted to the Pantorans.

As a result, the scientist found herself on Nar Shaddaa pitching her latest personal shielding tech to the Hutts. She hated the company of the Hutts. She felt dirty just talking to them. Thankfully Kloshi Kloshi was blown away by her presentation and quickly made an order of two dozen of the shields. That brought her business on the Smuggler’s Moon. The physicist barely felt slimy at all.

The upside of doing business on Nar Shaddaa was the wonderful and cheap party scene. Tatede was even luckier than usual as the Eternity Bar seemed to want to pull in some credits from the human population and put on a big rave party night. Just what Tatede needed to rinse clean any lasting muck from her meeting in the swampy dungeons Kloshi called home. She had ditched her lab coat aboard the Neutron Prism, let down her hair, and put on her new party dress before making her way to the night’s first party. If it was good enough it would last all night. If not she’d move on to the next hot spot.

The atmosphere in the club was great, the music: awesome, the drinks: strong. It was overall a great night. But as she took in the crowd the chance for a hook up seemed far-fetched. The men in the crowd were mostly low on the hot meter. Using their credits to get close to the female dancers, who were probably paid to be present. She had to laugh if the men thought they were going to get anywhere. The Twi’lek dancers seemed to show a little bit of attention to Tate, but she didn’t go that way. Dancing, sure, but nothing beyond that.

After her third drink Tate was about to give up on making any kinda connection this night. Then she noticed a man who might be worthy of giving a chance to. Rough looking, casual clothes, not trying too hard like the others. She placed her empty glass on the bar gave a shrill cheer and tried to dance her way over towards her target.

"What the?-"
Nichos nearly bumped into a woman who was dancing a little too close to him. "Hey! Watch out!" The Bounty Hunter said sidestepping out of the way. Glancing at her, Nichos had to admit that she was easy on the eyes. Nichos smiled getting a little closer towards the woman. "Got a little too into the music eh?" He chuckled while looking around the many people dancing the night away. "The name is Nichos so who is this lovely lady I'm talking to tonight?"
Might as well get to know her, the night is young and Nichos definitely wanted to have some fun before going back to the field.

“Objective achieved,” Tatede whispered to herself as the man she spotted nearly bounced her off the dance floor when she ventured into his path. A slight smile formed on her face despite the man yelling at her for being in the way. Maybe not the greatest first impression. But at least she got noticed. Now to figure out if he was worth the effort.

He got a lot more cordial when he got a look at who he nearly bumped into. Tatede gave another smile wondering if perhaps he was thinking a little body contact wouldn’t have been the worst thing. He gave his name as Nichos and the game had begun.

Tatede took a step closer to him. They were almost touching at this point they were dancing so close. “I’m Tate,” she answered with a smile. “Some of my friends call me T.T. The music is quite hypnotic, but the truth is I was looking to get a closer look and hadn’t realized how close I had gotten. You are a good dancer,” she praised him with only the truth lying so quickly never really got her anywhere. “So much so that I’d say you look a bit out of place here. The other men are… well let’s just say they look like the type that let the wallet do the leading for them.”

"Tate eh?" Nichos could tell that it was some sort of cover name she would use. Many people go to parties to hide from society and become their true selves. "Or T.T? Well then I must say your-"
He bit his tongue before the joke came out, what he was about to say was not a very appropriate thing to say when you're trying to flirt with a woman. Though Nichos had said worse in the past and got tazed for good measure. "You can call them fat fucking slobs!" Nichos said laughing. "They're so ugly they make the Hutts look like super models!"
The Bounty Hunter continued to dance against Tate. "So Tate," He asked. "Where you from?"

Somehow Dr. Tatede Truibark poke her consciousness in over the sound of the music and the haze created by the three drinks Tate had drunk to this point. This was not a true dual personality situation. She was always Tatede Truibark, whether she was working in a lab or partying in a club. But the actions were so different it almost felt like she could have two files for herself. Dr. Truibark tilted her head as she considered what was so odd about her nickname or initials. She looked over Nichos again. Still tall, dark and handsome. Maybe he just knew it wasn’t her full name and was suspicious by nature?

The drinks and music pushed analytical Dr. Tatede back to the rear of her brain and fun Tate came back with a wide smile. She danced in close and bumped her hip into his, or as close as she could given their height difference. “I don’t know if I would go so far as to degrade these men that much.” Tate responded with a smirk. “I had a meeting with Kloshi this afternoon. I think she claims to be a girl. I just see a big blob.”

Tate gave a shrug before moving in front of Nichos and placed her hands on his hips. “Where you from? That’s gonna be your opening line?” she replied giggling. “I’m from Seswenna. What about you? And please don’t follow up with if I come around here often. I’m all for flirting, but let’s be inventive or let our bodies do the talking.”

"Making fun of fat, balding, old men is my specialty." Nichos laughed. "Unfortunately, I have to work for these chitheads because they provide the work."
It's the downside of being a Bounty Hunter but Nichos will take what he'll get. "I'm a drifter sweetheart," Nichos said trying to act like the cool and mysterious Bounty Hunter. Worked a couple of times in the past though it may not work on T.T considering she has a bit of an attitude on her. "A hired gun lending his services to anyone who needs it."
He came closer to T.T and began to slowly rub his body against hers. "It's a fun job," he said. "But it can get lonely at times."

Tate batted her eyes and smiled at being called sweetheart. Not necessarily because she found that term flattering, but because Nichos was the best prospect for nice night in the club. And she could think of worse things to be called.

A drifter bounty hunter finding his way to Nar Shaddaa seemed almost cliché, but he was still cute so Tate decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and hold off judgement until she got the whole story. If things got that far at least. She didn't need the whole story to have some fun.

The scientist smiled as Nichos made contact. She leaned back into him and made sure he knew she was interested. "Gotta love your work. The only thing that makes it worth the sacrifices at the end of the day," Tate responded her tone trying to make the statement more cheery than it was. "I have much the same situation. Without getting my hands quite as dirty. I think we will both be a little less lonely though. At least for one night."

Ahhh the old batting the eyes, females love to do that when they want to pretend to be flattered. Though Nichos had to admit that it usually worked on him. Damn women and their feminine charm. "Well, I get to leave mountains of corpses but It's part of my work sweetheart." The Bounty Hunter danced closer to her leading T.T towards the middle of the dance floor. "So what do you have mind?" Nichos asked. "The night is young and I love to spend the night with a woman like you."

Tate was a bit amused by the fact that Nichos seemed to be boasting about the number of dead that he left behind due to his occupation. Here on Nar Shaddaa it was probably a boast that many found attractive. Tate knew it wasn’t quite the brag that she imagined for the father of her future children. But she wasn’t looking for a lifemate this night. That being the case she did find that it gave an opportunity to push him a little bit. See whether he was able to take on an aggressive partner. If he would be able to find the right level of give and take that Tate really yearned for.

Tate wrapped an arm around Nichos’ waist as she danced to his left side. She pulled herself tightly against his side and pushed herself up on her tippie toes, grinding against his ribs with her chest. “I design warships,” she whispered into his ear when she was close enough for her not to have to shout it. “I will be responsible for more deaths than you can ever imagine.” It wasn’t something that she liked to think about often. But one brag of the slightly off-color tone deserved to be one upped. And Tate really enjoyed that game.

T.T. lowered herself from her tippie toes as her message was delivered. She reached out her left hand and trailed it lightly down the center of his chest as she did. A smile formed on her lips as she considered all the possibilities that were available on Nar Shaddaa. “It’s the smuggler’s moon. I’m told the possibilities are endless, but it’s my first time,” she smiled a sweet smile at Nichos. Leaving the statement quite vague, but meaning she hadn’t spent anytime in the locale until today. “Whatever comes next. It won’t be here. The music is fine, the drinks…eh? Let’s get out of here and see what kinda trouble we can find.”

"Ah," Nichos said. "An egghead? Well don't worry T, you're not really killing people with the planes, it's the pilot doing all the work." Nichos frowned his thoughts lingered a bit on how engineers may indirectly play a hand on the deaths of potentially many people. Considering that many of them get paid a handsome number of credits, Nichos was sure that they slept soundly. "I'm pretty sure your pretty self is free from blame. When the Yavin Convention comes a knocking, it ain't going to be the engineers who will be arrested for war crimes."
Nichos has done his fair share of war crimes, back when the Confederacy existed he worked on many illegal operations. Sometimes to keep your homes safe, someone has to do the dirty work. For all people's talk about high ideals, it means chit when you can't defend themselves from foreign and domestic threats. "Troublemaking?" Nichos smirked as he rubbed his body against hers. "Nar Shaada isn't exactly the place for a pretty woman like you. But whatcha got in mind T?"

Tate smiled as the handsome bounty hunter absolved her of any fault in the deaths her ships would deal out. It was technically true. If there was no one giving the orders to cause the deaths she wouldn’t even have to make warships. She could make beautiful ships like the Prism. But it really didn’t matter to her if people wanted to blame her for the destruction her ships caused. It was an understood risk. The fact that Nichos was willing to give her a pass gave her a good feeling about this relationship. Or at least where this night was going to go.

As much as she enjoyed the comment about her having a clear conscience her brow quickly furrowed when Nichos insinuated that she couldn’t handle herself well enough to deal with the threats on the streets of Nar Shaddaa. Just because he was right in her case didn’t change the fact that women prettier than her could lay waste to this whole moon. But he seemed to be up for some fun, so Tate forgave quickly.

“T? I kinda like that,” she said with a wide smile. “Well as you say I don’t think that I should be walking the streets on my own. Might not be safe. I’ll need a big strong man at my side right?” She gave a bit of a giggle and stopped their dancing. She pulled him off the dancefloor and over to a booth where she pushed him into the seat and sat in his lap. She motioned to the waitress to bring her another drink. “I don’t know what’s your budget for the evening?” She asked, raising her eyebrows. “I can pay my own way. Just want to make sure you can keep up.”

Nichos smiled when Tatede approved of the nickname. "Good," Nichos said. "I'm something of a nicknamer so I'm glad that gave you something that'll stick."
The Bounty Hunter found himself being dragged towards the booth where she sat on his lap. Nichos chuckled surprised on how spunky she was and gently placed his hand on her thigh. "Are you kidding me?!" Nichos said. "Back in my military days I was the drinking King! Sorry T if you wanna drink the night away, I hope you can keep up!"

Tate was quite happy to be called T, at least for the night. She had no real expectations of a lasting relationship with a mercenary who she met in a Nar Shaddaa bar. Nichos was bragging again. So in the physicist’s mind her companion could kill a lot of people and drink a lot of liquor. She’d spent the night with people with worse resumés. And she’d had a really good time doing it.

The waitress returned with a drink for both of them. Tate didn’t recognize what Nichos was drinking but smiled wide at her usual Photon Fizzle, a typical party girl drink that she gained an affinity to as a younger woman. “Drink up then and we’ll see,” Tate offered with a smile as she rose her own drink to her lips.

“Of course you know that this night can not be all about drinking,” Tate continued, licking the last bit of her sip off her lips. “Watching you pass out in the booth is not my idea of a good time. I’ve seen you on the dancefloor. You’re good. For a military type. You finish that drink. We’ll have one more dance and then see what else the moon has to offer for entertainment.”

Ahhh good ol Grog, it's a cheap but strong drink one that could knock a person out after a few drinks. Nichos would often brag about outdrinking a Wookie saying that they both went up to 30 glasses of Grog before the Wookie passed out crushing some poor Duros onlooker in the process and breaking 4 of his ribs. The Bounty Hunter sniggered taking a big swig of Grog. "Why dance when we could go to the gambling rings?" He said. "I know a few places where we're guaranteed a good cash out! I got the creds for them!"

“Hmmm. A gambler huh?” she wanted to give him another good look up and down, but sitting on his lap didn’t give a good view. She would have to use her exquisite memory to recall the ripples of his features. In the meantime her hand went up to his shoulder and trailed down his arm to his wrist.

“You are becoming more interesting as we go along,” Tate hummed. “I have heard that gambling here on Nar Shaddaa is quite inspired. What is your game? I personally enjoy pazaak, but I know that’s an old game that many don’t play any longer. I also like sabacc, binspo, hintaro, and magna-shuffle . I have even been known to play the Jubilee Wheel from time to time.” Tate was surprised by herself when she rattled off the number of games of chance she partook in. She guessed it would be hard for somebody to call her boring with so many varied interests.

“Nar Shaddaa is a moon/city that never sleeps however and the best casinos will be quite busy,” Tate’s hand trailed back up Nichos’ arm as she spoke. “I enjoy the adrenaline rush of an active casino, but I am hoping you’ve got some room in your plans for just you and I. In my experience a game of sabacc can get quite interesting when it is just one-on-one with no onlookers.”

"In many ways gambling is.... inspired," Nichos chuckled placing his hand on T's cheek. "Let's just say I know how to game the system." Nichos knew of a few reliable small time gambling stops on Nar Shaddaa that he can get a huge pay out. Just enough to the management won't get too suspicious of his winnings. Besides, Nichos knew some of the people in those casinos he often guarded their facilities when he first started out.
"Well then T," Nichos said picking her up in a bridal carry. "What are we waiting for, we clean the Casinos and the next time we can hit my apartment where we can play some Sabacc all alone with no one to look at us."
The Bounty Hunter chuckled. "Definitely up for it," he winked.

Tate closed her eyes at the gentle touch of her cheek. She smiled as there was a bit of a pause as Nichos thought over the choices he had. That was a very attractive thing to Tate. Options were always something the Tate liked to have. Gambling was something that Tate enjoyed very much. In the true games being a math genius with an incredible memory was a plus and required no real thought to cheating. And games that actually were a crap shoot, those were just the best sort of anxious fun.

Nichos showed his strength by standing up without having to remove Tate from his lap. She went from sitting on his lap to being easily carried in the way a bride would be as the groom took her across the threshold of their new life. “Don’t get any ideas,” she said to Nichos with a giggle. “Four drinks aren’t enough for me to be taken to a quickie wedding chapel.” She laughed and ran a hand over Nichos’ chest, smiling as she felt the flexed pecks. “Definitely looking forward to seeing you in action. Give me an idea how aggressive I’ll need to be in our private games.”

"What do you talking about?" Nichos said starting to carry T out from the Eternity Bar. "I would never dream of settling down though based on the alluring lady in my arms. Maaaayyyyybe I might make an exception."
The Bounty Hunter winked while exiting the bar. "You'll find that I like my games quick yet satisfying," Nichos joked. "It's fast paced and you'll get lost if you don't keep up. But for you, I'll slow down the game T."
He continued to carry T through the streets arriving at a small casino ahead. "There's one," Nichos said. "I've worked as a bodyguard once and I know the owner so he'll let us in and maybe give us drinks for free."

Nichos carried Tate out of the bar and into the streets of Nar Shaddaa. It was definitely not what Tate was used to. She was a genius, top of her class and high ranking officer in a military tech company. She wasn't used to being treated as a little child might. She found the treatment surprisingly alluring. It made her wonder what else Nichos was capable of.

The bounty hunter not surprisingly held Tate's same ideals around marriage. Well at least this quickly into a relationship. He made a joke about making an exception for a woman like Tate. The physicist laughed and patted Nichos chest again. It was something she liked to feel.

"Well a few more drinks and I will be looking to speed things up not slow down," Tate responded with a wink. "Let's see if you can put your money where your mouth is. You think you can put win me in there?"
