DESCRIPTION

Created by Fiolette and Kassandra while working in a research lab. The idea at the time was primarily to allow Kassandra and Fio to travel between key planets, but the two decided to see how it worked so as a proof of concept they selected planets within the Confederacy of the Independent Systems. If the process worked then the two would apply the technology to worlds the two frequented.

This network was implemented after a meeting Fiolette had with the CIS’ Vicelord. The idea would let both the Vicelord and the Exarchs get to where they needed to go faster than with traditional travel.

The portals are small, triangular in shape with a swirling black mass in the center. To reach a particular destination, one must say where they want to go. Due to the experimental technology of it all, there are only four portals in the CIS, and another four hidden elsewhere in the galaxy. The other locations are known only by Fiolette and Kassandra.
