One of the main problems and dangers of mounted wrist sabers is their rigidity since they cannot rotate they lose a lot of the omni-directional nature of a saber and depending on if they are mounted top of bottom pose a danger to hands that could go into the way or the fingers.

See the blades are attached via emitters on the wrists of ARMORED gauntlets that will be in the suit. This is just a piece of the suit.

Yes and your arm lacks the rotational capabilities of a lightsaber hilt in the hand which would make deflection skills be reduced and limit the range it can go as now it is able to extend and rotate as much as your arm and your hands or fingers can touch the blade on accident possibly damaging the armor. Lightsaber resistant doesn't mean immune and as you have a synthetic crystal to make the blade burn hotter it has better cutting power so it will take less time to slice through the phrik. The other danger of having emitters which were usally in secured sabers can also be damaged which would make the blades a danger.

If I was writing the sub, I would modify them like tonfas that are built into the wrists of the armor and stick off the sides. That way they can be rotated and avoid touching the hands and fingers.
I would have the power systems optimized with the duel chamber powr cells that are designed to recycle and increase the energy output so they can be maintained and a tri-phase switch for shifting hat the blades could do.

Krass Wyms Krass Wyms While changing them from wrist-blades kinda messed up the idea I had for them (nessecitating a bit of a rewrite on a sub I'm still working on), I've still made the changes.
