It is not unusual for Force Sensitivity to be discovered in adolescence, but Lihary Rom, widow of a dead Dominion senator (who perished on the sacking of Ession) only realized the truth of her power in her late thirties. Her training was largely private, she preferred to keep to herself with that respect and study holocrons and texts her husband provided to her. In the struggles of the Dominion, she preferred to support the troops with Battle Meditation than engage in direct lightsaber combat.
Now, bereft of the governmental structure and confounded by the Republic's separation of Jedi and politics, Lihari seeks to rise through the ranks of the Jedi Order to break down the barriers between the Order and the Senate, allowing the compassion and wisdom of the Jedi to control the government - the way it was always meant to be. Likewise heartbroken by her husband's death, she seeks to eliminate the endless danger of the Sith who destroyed her way of life.
