- Snow Wookiee - Do I need to say more? Ok he is naturally big and strong.
- One with the ship - He knows the Lucana Gaucho inside and out, as him anything about it and he has an answer, well as long as you can speak Talzzi .
- Good with plants and animals - Both living (cultivating and growing) and dead (chop'um, mash'um, put them in a stew)
- Kinda Flakey - He moves to the beat of his own drum, not the most attentive or well obedient of crewmen
- Man of few words - Literally dude is bad at making conversation, and not the best diplomat
- Peaceful - Really doesn't like to fight, so can't really count on him during boarding actions
Lij himself forgets a time when he did not travel the void. He thinks he may have even been born on the ship honestly. Either way, he plans on living out his life board the ship he loves. When the ship was owned by pirates he was the resident slop cook and brewmaster, slaving down in the lower hold making food and booze for the crew. When the Lucana Gaucho was liberated Maokai found Lij not resisting at all, instead, he was calmly slicing mouf melon during the battle seeming intent on performing his duties no matter what the circumstance. Recognizing Lij was to threat, Mako instead made sure he was not arrested with most of the rest of the pirate crew. But when offered his freedom and a chance to leave and start a new life, Lij refused and instead went back to work cleaning up after the conflict.
Mako saw where this was going, the OPA would not allow Lij to stay and if the Talz would not leave saw few options. Trading in his prized LX Astro Class freighter and what saving he had he was able to purchase the Lacuna Gaucho and her remaining crew, which consisted of Lij and a few ancient droids. Accepting the change of ownership, Lij was happy to stay and apply his skills helping his new captain of the ship he called home.
Elevating him to quartermaster (because there were few options) Maokai now relies on the old Talz to make sure his ship stays stocked and clean while away. When at home he enjoys his amazing cooking and tolerates his swill when no other alcohol options remain.
