LIKE A BOSS (CIS)

The Eternal Queen
Well.
This was certainly a curious turn of events. Not where Feena expected to find herself this quickly, but not something she would be ungrateful for. She was never ungrateful. She had been moving up at a constant speed and now she felt as if she had accomplished something great.
But it was not going to be easy. Especially not now. In her condition, added stress was never a good idea. But Feena knew when she was needed. Nothing could make her turn this down, not when it gave her the tools that were needed. Not when she could make the most difference this way.

Standing behind a door, Feena waited. She would not take her place until all had gathered. She would not address the Templar's until they were as ready as she was. It just was not proper. And that was how she wanted things to be here; proper. Professional.

For this occasion, she had dressed in full uniform. Her hair was pulled back away from her face. Her gloves were clean and white. Her boots polished to the point that she could see her reflection in them. This was what a leader should look like.
Now she needed to show what a leader should act like.

Word traveled as fast as lightning throughout the hallowed halls of the Sanctum at Roon, and the entirety of the Templar Order was buzzing in response. It was quite the sudden change, announced seemingly overnight; but it was a change that, at least in the eyes of Josiah Denko, could be met with great respect and understanding. This day, the Templar Order would see a change in leadership: a transition from the careful, yet ancient hands who had crafted the idea into the hands of one who could only be described as...a mother. Yes, that was an apt description of the woman who would now carry the mantle of Archon and lead the Templars, proud and strong, into the future.

Feena Mason, Master and Arch Curate, was chosen due to the fact that she, above all other qualifications, cared. The Templars were, at least by the Knight's understanding, to her as precious as family; and her loving, yet stern nature was enough to command the respect and loyalty of any who crossed her path. To say the least, Josiah fully supported this transition in leadership and would follow this woman into the bowels of hell and back. As such, he, along with the entirety of his fellows, had assembled in the same bowl-shaped auditorium that they had firstly been addressed by Xos'Nulo quite some time ago.

For the occassion, he wore a less formal attire than the last time he had arrived; consisting of his Templar Armor with a dark cloak draped about his shoulders. He sat, casually, in his seat wrought from stone and patiently awaited the arrival of the others; both Templar and Confederate alike, who would hear the first words of their new Archon addressing her fellows.

Vorhi was wearing a simple overcoat with his Templar Insignia, over what amounted to relaxed, casual businesswear. He had lost track of time in the archives, and didn't get to change before coming here. He really needed to think about adding alarms for events to the data system when he was doing archive crawling. Ah, well. He nodded politely to Feena, grabbing a seat in his normal position for assemblies, a little behind the Master's row. He was a knight now, albeit probably the least lethal of the knights by any stretch. He nodded to Josiah thoughtfully. "Good evening, Lady Feena, Knight Denko," he said softly as he took a seat, smiling warmly.

Alli wren wore a provocative black dress that left just enough to the imagination. She smirked as she came in, some sort of templar ceremony was going on and she figured she should figure out what. So looked around curious what sort of folk were going to be gathered here. After all she didn't often do this sort of thing but she had figured she should pay attention to the CIS a bit more of late. So here she was. She walked in and made her way to the VIP seating, and smirked looking to see who else might show up.

As usual a cold dread preceeded the arrival of Daxton Bane, walking in almost absolute silence even though he was dressed from head to toe in plated segmented armor. As time passed his armor gradually took more insectile like aspects, as if it were a living entity in itself. Pausing to acknowledge the presence of other masters, Daxton moved to his place and waited for the others to arrive.

Glancing about him, he wondered who be as curious as he to see what was about to be said today.

Seth sat quietly near his mentor looking around at everyone already there, he was slightly nervous about having to be in the croud of people and hoped that this would not last to long. reaching up he messed with the red cloth he kept tied around his head to keep his shaggy hair out of his eyes.

Meeting once again in the chamber nicknamed "The Bowl" as the room was shaped as what it was called. Dressed in my white armor did I come. Only that I left my hood down and my helmet at my chamber. As such a Templar Master I carried my Icy blue lightsaber on my belt, and only that weapon, as my sword was very dark sided in the force. Despair Was a blade made to be powerful in Dark energies of the force. It could corrupt the weak minded just with a single touch. Even non-force users felt a dark and eerie presence around the blade. Here it would not be wanted.

I sat down among the other Templars and looked up to @[member="Feena Mason"] As we had met before. At Zaidens wedding I had the honor of meeting the woman without being on a battle field. I waited for her to address the people of the CIS as a whole and to hear of what she might be doing in the future.

(SORRY FOR THE WAIT GUYS! Crazy storms, power went out a billion times. Tornado's are the WORST!)

Feena took a breath and stared out at those gathered. She had prepared a speech. but now, looking at them, it didn't seem... appropriate. It didn't seem real enough. A practiced, well rehearsed speech was not what they needed to hear.

"Greeting to all of you and thank you for joining me today."

She hesitated, cleared her throat, almost launched into her original speech and stopped herself.

"I... had a speech prepared," she confessed, "I practiced it all night. but when i got up here, when i saw all of you gathered, it just didn't seem right to give you something so cold and impersonal. You deserve better than that.
It is true that I have been promoted to Archon. It is true that when I was asked to do this, I agreed with zero hesitation. It is true that I will be expecting some changes here.

But instead of just standing up here telling you all about it, I think it would be best if I answered your questions in person. From here on out, nothing is hidden from you. Any questions, comments and concerns, you feel free to bring them to me.
I am an open book."

Sonja sat at a table with a couple of the more favored snipers in her squad. She looked up at Feena when she claimed to be an open book and yelled out "Where can a chick get a drink around here?!" She then let out a sly chuckle as if she were just messing around with the new Archon. She then proceeded with conversing with her accompaniment as the ceremony went on.

Feena's eyes flashed to the girl, only for an instant. She opened her mouth to respond, but quickly closed it. She had to be professional.

"The nearest cantina is down the road. Now, any serious questions?"

I watched as @[member="Feena Mason"] stood up to speak to us. She seemed nervous at first then I could tell that she had made her mind about speaking. As she began to talk it seemed soft a quiet at first but got louder for all to hear. She wanted to make this personal. As much as I wanted to just get up and leave, I stayed. When another member of the CIS asked for where to get a drink I was so close to standing up and walking out yet again. That was not the way that you treat a leader. But I stopped as Feena made it clear. Smiling I still stood up and spoke for myself.

"What do you plan to do with the Templars, Archon?"

(OOC: Its all good, no need to fret about us, we can wait. I was also in the storm as well.)

The Eternal Queen
Ah! At last. A serious question. Feena stood straight as a board, hands neatly folded behind her back, yet she smiled gently at @[member="Darth Solrune"].
"An excellent question. I am glad that you asked it," she began to reply, "As they were intended to be, the Templars have been and always should be, a force used for peace and efforts to create peace. I intend to take that one step further."
Feena cleared her throat again before launching into an explanation.

"Are you all aware of Project Sanctuary?"

I still stood as @[member="Feena Mason"] began to speak with a kind smile. Even from here I could feel the warmth of it. However, I stayed focused on the topic at hand. She spoke of keeping the peace as we always had, but that she would take it one step further. I did not know how she would do that, but I knew that she would try her best in the endeavor. She asked a question to everyone in general about "Project Sanctuary" I shook my head standing there with a verbal, "No." I took a second for everybody else then spoke once more. "If you do not mind Archon, Could you inform us of what this 'Project Sanctuary'?"

The Eternal Queen
The Archon nodded and pulled something out of her uniform pocket. When she opened her hand, the tiny holoprojector lit up with a small 3d blueprint of a large 'temple'.

"Sanctuary is exactly what it sounds like. A place of peace and healing for the displaced people of the Galaxy. When the many peoples of the Galaxy go to war on a neighboring planet, when the fighting is over, what do we suppose happens to the civilians?
I will tell you. Those that do not die from being caught in the cross fire, are often left homeless. Of those new homeless, nearly half of them are children. Now, if left alone, most of the time society will rebuild itself, however; before that happens, nearly thirty percent will die of starvation within the first year. twenty percent will die of perfectly preventable disease. And ten percent will die of miscellaneous factors, caused by the devastating after effects of war."

Feena scanned the room, searching for... anything. Any sign that her words were getting out. That they were listening, understanding.

"Sanctuary will provide safety and security for those who need it most. We will provide the tools necessary for these people to rebuild."

Vorhi considered the new Archon's words. He'd known that sanctuary was a big deal for her. She had wanted this project for a while. Still, it was going to take a great deal of resources. He smiled. "Errr, this isn't so much a question as a suggestion," he said politely. "I think it'd be wise to install and maintain some holographic transmission equipment for both here and Sanctuary, so that we can maintain channels of communication," he said calmly, looking at her. He wasn't against the idea of collaborating on this, but the Templars had a lot of things to do. He had to keep the administrative issues in mind, and make sure everyone could reach them.

The Eternal Queen
Feena smiled politely and nodded at the suggestion.
"This issue had already been taken into consideration and we are building accordingly. Thank you."

Dharma Vessia

Lords of the Fringe
There was a being late style and being fashionably late style. Dharma’s late was a little loud and confusing. She entered the chamber by sort of singing, spinning and skipping in her pink dress. The lack of shoes made it easier for her to spin. Of course, her dolly floated a centimeter from the floor next to Dharma. For nutty McGee, her dolly was walking and talking like a little person. So when remarks like, “Umm, what was going on here, dolly?” Dharma started off with to her toy.

Dharma stopped her spinning as the doll replied to her only, “Little one, don’t start that game… we talk about this already. Even your ship ramp added to our chat.”

“Fine be a sourpuss, dol…” A little pouting was laced into her joyful voice before the doll cut her off.

“We went over everything that was going to be asked and what you are supposed to ask, little one.”

“Darn…” Dharma popped back and made a disappointing face. “Darn.” She stood as still as she could which meant rocking back and forth. There was a question that was forming with in her lips to release but a rude chair distracted her. Glaring at it, she answered back a little aggressively in her tone. “No, I was going to stand here and just say darn over and over and over and over and over… and over, you butt hugger.”

Once that chair was dealt with, Dharma went back to looking at the new Archon. There were giggles before the words left her lips. “First, I’m sorry these guys are being superbly talkative and sometimes rude. Then second thingie is congratulations new boss lady Archon for the job. Finally for the third word is the question.” She took a moment, a pause before asking her question. “Sanctuary sounds of sweetness and whatever… but there is another side of that sugary dream. That is those that don’t deserve such kindness, are we going to get a 'Sanctuary' for them so they can see the other side that I love to live on?”
