PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Lily Rhodes is slight of frame, with silvery-blonde hair that catches the light and soft, alert light-brown eyes that miss little. She favours practicality over flair, usually dressed in well-worn jeans, a fitted tank top, and her ever-present leather jacket, a trusted companion with a dozen hidden pockets stitched into its lining for everything from credits to dataspikes. The jacket looks ordinary at a glance, but it's a map of her life: each pocket, each crease, tells a story of survival. Along the inside of her left forearm, a Fangrawl tattoo snakes just beneath the skin, a subtle mark that grants her uncanny stealth and hints at powers few would suspect in someone so unassuming.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Lily has learned to survive by never standing still.
She enters every space with quiet calculation, always aware of exits, always ready to move. She prefers to be unremarkable, the kind of person easily overlooked, and grows uneasy under attention or praise. Stillness doesn't come naturally to her, and neither does trust. A childhood on the streets taught her that nothing is ever given freely.
And yet, despite that, Lily wants to believe in people. She holds onto the idea that there's good in everyone, sometimes trusting kindness more than she should.
When she's nervous, she rambles. When she's anxious or thinking, she chews at the inside of her lip, a small crack in an otherwise guarded exterior.
Beneath it all, Lily is locked in a constant struggle with herself. She fears the darkness tied to her Sith lineage and fights daily not to become what her family expects. Power tempts, but she resists it, because, at her core, she is not cruel. She avoids killing whenever possible, holding onto the belief that life still has value.
In quieter moments, she reads, learns, and tries to understand the galaxy around her, searching, perhaps, for where she belongs within it.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
▲ STRENGTH: Telepathic Sensitivity: Lily's growing ability to sense the thoughts of those around her makes her incredibly aware of her surroundings, though it comes with its own challenges. In quiet, controlled spaces, she can read intentions before they're spoken, giving her a tactical edge.
▲ STRENGTH: Stealth Mastery: A Fangrawl tattoo etched on her arm grants her a natural stealth, allowing her to move unseen and unheard without relying on the Force.
▲ STRENGTH: Teleportation: In close quarters, Lily can blink from one spot to another, using her teleportation to outmaneuver opponents and escape danger.
▲ STRENGTH: Thievery: Years of surviving on the streets and slipping through shadows have made her an exceptionally skilled thief, quick, clever, and nearly impossible to catch.
▼ WEAKNESS: Crowded Minds: The very telepathy that makes her perceptive can also overwhelm her, turning crowded spaces into a mental cacophony unless she erects strong mental barriers.
▼ WEAKNESS: Dark Side Corruption: Anger and resentment linger beneath her calm exterior, a subtle corruption from the dark side she struggles to control. When her guard slips, it can cloud her judgment and make her actions unpredictable.
▼ WEAKNESS: Force Strain: Using force travel causes her significant pain and amplifies her connection to the dark side, forcing her to weigh every move carefully lest her own power consume her.
HISTORY
Early years 883 - 899 ABY
Lily Rhodes was never meant to survive, let alone matter.
Abandoned as an infant in the neglected depths of Coruscant's lower levels, she grew up in an orphanage that existed more for government stipends than for children. No name worth keeping, no family to claim her, and no kindness without cost. Lily learned early that survival meant taking what others wouldn't give. By the time she could walk the streets alone, she was already light-fingered and sharp-eyed, slipping credits from pockets and vanishing before anyone thought to look twice.
What began as petty theft became something more calculated as she grew older. By her teens, Lily was taking bigger risks, building a quiet reserve of coin and a reputation that never quite caught up to her face. But Coruscant was a cage, and at sixteen, she refused to die in it. She stowed away on the first ship she could find and never looked back.
899-902 ABY
The years that followed were restless and rootless. Lily drifted from world to world, surviving however she could, never staying long enough to be known, never trusting enough to belong. That changed when she crossed paths with
When Velok's curse threatened to consume him, Lily stood by his side. Their search for a cure led them to Jaibrek, where the intervention of the Nagai Telepath, Grandmaster Sonere, not only broke Velok's curse, but awakened something long dormant within Lily herself. Her connection to the Force. It was the first time in her life that something within her felt like it belonged.
For a while, she tried to build something resembling a home, training with the telepaths. But Lily was never meant to stay still. The same instinct that had kept her alive began to pull at her again, dragging her back into the wider galaxy and into its conflicts.
From there, her path grew increasingly tangled.
A chance encounter at the Tavlar Military Academy introduced her to
But it was on Faldos that everything began to fracture.
A smuggling job gone wrong placed her in the hands of
Drawn by equal parts curiosity and longing, Lily stayed. She learned. She listened. And for the first time, she entertained the dangerous idea that she might belong to something, even if that something was built on darkness.
But the deeper she stepped into that world, the harder it became to ignore what it truly was.
She witnessed the brutality of the Sith Order firsthand, from the horrors of the Blackwing virus to the quiet cruelty of power plays that cost innocent lives. She saved who she could, carrying the weight of those she couldn't. And as her connection to the Force grew, so too did the question that haunted her:
Was strength worth becoming something monstrous?
Her ties to Iskendyr shattered when she became entangled, knowingly or not, in the schemes of Sith Lords. Desperate to fix what she had broken, Lily made reckless choices that brought her face-to-face
The final fracture came when she witnessed Malum's rise firsthand, his ruthless ascent sealed in blood and betrayal. In that moment, Lily understood the truth she had been avoiding.
This was not her path.
She ran.
902 ABY - present
Now, in a galaxy thrown into chaos by the Planeshift, Lily drifts once more, caught between the light she barely understands and the darkness that still calls to her. She keeps her head down, taking whatever work keeps her moving, but the conflict within her is no longer something she can outrun.
Sooner or later, Lily Rhodes will have to choose what she stands for.
And this time, there may be no running from the answer.
