Responsibility for the huge, intricate air recycling systems on Denon fell partially under the auspices of the Globex Corporation. The AI-run company took its task seriously, more to adhere to the letter of their contract language than out of any sense of loyalty or affection for the organic denizen of Denon.
A gigantic, vertical city often requires huge pumping stations or the benefit of weather systems to move clean air to different parts of the occupied portions of the city. LiquiSEEDⓇ began as an initiative by Globex to create localized pockets of clean air, requiring only regional circulation between pockets in the lowest layers of the city-world. While other technologies superceded the LiquiSEEDⓇ project, it created enough utility to justify mass-production. LiquiSEEDⓇ is typically deployed for small-scale impact in districts most heavy impacted by pollution or a lack of large-scale air recycling systems, especially in the Twilight Belt and Midnight Zone where typical flora development is unreliable.
With the low production cost of LiquiSEEDⓇ 4™ and its increased power efficiency, it may now be suitable for projects off-world and for public sale.
