WHO IS LISANDRO KANTOR?
Born in Coruscant to 2 gifted parents in the music industry, a mother who is an Opera Singer, and his father a Jazz Singer. He grew up surrounded with Music and arts during his early childhood, but when he turns 8 his parent found out he was a force sensitive, when Kantor use the force to stop a ceiling light that was about to fall on a performer in the Jazz Club. With a heavy heart his parents ask the Jedi to take Kantor into their tutelage because they know it is the best for him. Once he joined the Jedi Order, it took him awhile to get used to how things work within the Jedi Temple, from a freer nature he had grown to be accustomed to being a more orderly and rigid fashion. But it didn't hamper his development and learning, as his creativity and open mind help him see what some other do not see during his training to become a Jedi, putting him above some of his peers. Due to Kantor personality and upbringings, once he graduated from a Padawan, he started wear a less traditional clothing of a Jedi, he wore clothing more suited to his flamboyant attitude which cause some disapproval from some Jedi. It also did not help that. During his early years training at the Jedi Temple, he was given the nickname Mr. Excessive due to his attitude and how he acts, which he embraces that name wholeheartedly.
His path within the Jedi would lead him to become a Jedi Investigator, certified to work with law enforcement agencies in tracking down criminals, uncovering hidden and handling threats within Coruscant. During his first year as a Jedi Investigator and working along with law enforcement, he had been mistaken to be a Private Investigator or a freelancer, because he doesn't exude what a Jedi is to some people. But his more casual and friendly nature made him more liked not just by law enforcement but also people in Coruscant that he come across during his work. Kantor would sometimes be sent to otherworld by the Jedi Council with mission that require him to infiltrate certain organization or spy on criminals for information or even just help solve criminal cases police forces in certain planets. Though he enjoyed being a Jedi and his time in the temple, he missed the sound of music he used to hear all the time as a child and wanted to perform just like his parents did. So sometimes, sneak off and perform in local music club, playing either the guitar or piano while singing as he has quite the beautiful voice.
Even though he mostly takes care of criminals such as gangster, mercenary or the sort, Kantor had fought with a few dark side users. One of the most dangerous one he had faced, when he was sent to Metellos to investigate a case of missing children, which turned out to be a Sith doing, as she wanted to find children who are force sensitive to be her apprentice. Kantor pursuit her to where he had hidden the children, where a fight ensued between the two duelers. The Sith had the upper hand due to her aggressive and quick fight style, and Kantor had to be on the defensive until he can find an opening, which he fortunately able to find in a moment of carelessness from the Sith. He then took the children and returned them to their parents, as once he was done, he reported his finding to the Jedi Council. Due to his experience with fighting dark side users, he had been asked if he was willing to change assignment to one's that would deal with such threats, but Kantor refuse, as he prefer his current duty where he can help and maintain relationship with the citizen.
Appearance & Personality
Kantor wardrobes consist of a flashy and over-the-top and includes a variety of clothing items and accessories. He always has at least one clothing apparel on him that is colored crimson, because it is his favorite & lucky color. He would only wear robes if he were within the Jedi Temple so he can avoid be nagged at by others. He has a thin mustache, with a pompadour hairstyle or sometimes an afro depending on how he is feeling at the moment. His general style is a retro look with wide lapels, funky patterns, and aviator sunglasses. He tends to be more sensitive to the emotions of others. He is quite excellent at empathizing with others and may have a strong need for emotional connection. Kantor is also undeniably ready to learn whatever is asked or needed of him and believe that experience is the best teacher. He prefers to deescalate and talk it out than fighting, as he's not fond of needles violence but that does not mean he will not fight. Unlike many Jedi, Kantor tends to wear his emotion on his sleeve due to his upbringing, which is something he tries to lessen so it doesn't hinder his duties as a Jedi.
