Little Town, Filled with Little People..

Lothal

The people of Lothal had been struggling lately.. at least a small town that had reported many sightings of bandits that had come to the planet vandalizing and taking whatever they wished. One specific princess, Raelynn Jarrus of Cularin, had caught wind of this and soon she found herself in contact with a man by the name of [member="Judah Lesan Jr."] Then it wasn't long until they both found themselves getting ready for a trip to Lothal. She packed up a few necessary things, such as a restock in food and other things she would need to help the little town.

She decided to leave a day early, so she would be there to get a list of things that needed to be fixed or needed help. She didn't care too much about organization of everything until she had taken off into hyperspace. Luckily she had alot of storage space on the ship, so she was able to store quite a bit for what she would need. After she finished organizing everything, she would take a nap and then get up a few hours later, get dressed, put her hair up and then beeping from the cockpit could be heard outside the kitchen area.

Getting up, Rae ran to the cockpit and landed in her pilot's seat and tapped a few buttons, confirming the emerge from hyperspace. Once she did emerge, the world of Lothal lay in front of her just waiting for her help. Quickly, she found the field they planned meeting at and landed. Going to the back of her ship where the cargo bay is, she grabbed one of the crates and put the anti-gravity on and started moving it into the town. Once she set up a designated spot, she opened the crate and started handing out meals to people. She and her staff helped put them together in boxes for people.

After the meals were all handed out to everyone, Rae decided to walk around for a little bit and get her head around this town, so she had an idea of it if it was attacked again. Her senses told her she would see an attack.. As she was walking along, she saw a little girl with a small handmade doll sitting next to a tent, playing. Rae smiled seeing her play. It reminded her of her past. She rarely got any time to play except for when she was being a terror around the castle.

Lothal was a different world than Corellia, in fact it was nothing like the world Judah had called home until it was destroyed. The young man had been wandering the galaxy since, and floated from one group to the next in hopes that he would find his place in the galaxy. None had seemed to be the right fit, nothing feeling right since he and his ranger had parted ways. The guilt of death had finally subsided, and the Jedi no longer felt his actions to preserve life had been wrong.

Today he was helping with relief. There was also a rumor of bandits. While the woman he was to meet was handling relief, Judah had been tasked with handling the bandits should they arrive. Until then he would assist with the relief work. He'd always enjoyed working with his hands, even if that meant giving refugees the food they needed for the next month. There had to be more which could be done, but alas there was not much only once could do. Such was the dillemma of the Jedi. There was always someone to help, but never enough hands.

He was dressed in a simple blue tunic, his leather vest, and brown pants. Boots and matching vambraces adorned his feet and forearms. A single lightsaber hilt hung from his belt, and a sandpanther tooth from the string in his neck. Both served as a reminder of his home, the world he lost long ago. It was this that motivated him to build and heal, and where he could, fight.

His eyes met the princess where they were to meet. She was with a young girl. Judah walked up and stepped in beside her. "It is a shame her innocence is not what is should be... too much war for someone so young."

Raelynn had stopped for a little while to watch the girl play until the little one saw Rae and smiled back at her. Raelynn's smile had grown a little bit and she decided to sit with the girl while she played. Raelynn was lost in sweet memories as a child before her father died. He had always tried to provide a good life for her and he spent time with her whenever he could, but then memories of the battle she lost him in came flooding to her mind all too quickly. It was like the flood gates had opened and her head was filled with every single moment from that time. She had been fearful when it happened as she had probably been about the age of this little girl she was siting with when it had happened. She would appear with two lightsabers on her belt and WESTAR-35s on either side of her. It would seem intimidating, but Rae was approaching gently, so she wouldn't take it the wrong way.

She had been watching the girl the entire time, but she was snapped back to current time when [member="Judah Lesan Jr."] came up and she got a mental reminder that she had been here to meet up with him to help out this town. He mentioned that this young girl's innocence had been tainted by war. Rae knew what he meant. She had been in a similar position before.

"I agree.. and to be this calm during all of it. I know I never was. I just hope we can save her from having to deal with more war.."

she stated simply. Rae then remembered that she'd had some candy that she had bought in the market place. The little one's mother wasn't too far off and she asked if it'd be ok to give her the candy. Her mother was very grateful for her offer and Rae gave a warm smile before going back to the little girl, handing her some of the candy, letting her choose what she liked. After she picked out a few pieces, she bounced up and down before giving Raelynn a big hug. She hugged the young girl back with all she had until she let go of her. She then watched as the little one ran off to show her mother the candy. It felt good to see someone so happy.

Now Raelynn just hoped that they would be able to fight off the bandits if they came that night. Rae was ready and she would do whatever it took to protect this town.
