Live by the Sword, Kill with it. (Alexandra Cinthra)

Arturious stepped into the Academy training room. He circled the entire room taking a closer look at it than he had when he had first wandered to the very room the sounds of Acolytes fighting. The experience was fresh on his mind. Being interrupted by [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] with a challenge worded as a very clever dig at being weak.

In truth Arturious had been weaker than his challenger and he knew it. However it was not in his nature to show fear or to back down from a challenge. More importantly Arturious knew better than to let people get under his skin. It distracted from the task at hand, that task being survival.

With no one yet in the training room and his instructor not yet there Arturious decide to do a little meditating before the lesion.

Alexandra walked in behind the man and motioned with her head over to an area where there was no one around and moved to it, in her hands though were not normally training equipment. It was a bundle of food in one hand and in the other a few books that she seemed to already be messing with, furthermore her sabers were on her belt but untouched and an array of devices lined the belt with them. "Hello Engel, today you will be learning the basics of form two."

When Alexandra entered and spoken Arturious looked her over with a slight chuckle at the food and books in her arms. Rising he walked over to her.

"Are you going to get all formal on me now?" "What is with the food and books?" "You going to preach philosophy to me?" "I think I would rather be impaled by a rusty vibrosword then spend all day reading and looking at pretty pictures."

Arturious chuckled to himself.

"Oh, i wont be reading to you, you are going to just stand there and do nothing while i read and eat, have fun.." At first it would seem as a joke, until she sat down with a fruit in hand and a book open, reading and paying absolutely not attention to the Sith Acolyte... well seemingly no attention as she sat there.

Arturious smiled shaking his head but did not speak. If it was a test of will she wanted to pursue then that was find with him.

Arturious crossed his arms as he stood there closing his eyes Arturious retreated into his mind into his connection with the force. He would remain virtually motionless has he focused using to the time to grow stronger tapping the connection.

Alexandra merely kept on reading as she sat there, her hand slowly turning the pages and waiting for the moment as she ate once more. Her eyes did come up once though as she sat there and rose a brow at him focusing inwards rather than outwards.

Arturious continued to stand there motionless with his eyes closed focusing on feeling the force in a semi-meditative trance. Arturious was determined to wait as long as Alexandra would press the issue. He had a life time to play games a life time to spend doing whatever it took. Being that Arturious had nothing of value, nothing or no one in his life that held any meaning Arturious had nothing to lose.

After a length of time Arturious would toy with his manipulation of the force pushing out a small wave like a subtle breeze before pulling it back in and repeating two or three times a thin barely noticeable smile forming at the corners of his mouth.

She didn't even look up now, though she did feel him manipulating the force and her own grin formed, he was occupying himself to keep from receding to boredom and impatience, good. How long though was the question she wanted answered and she had enough to last someone a good long while between the food, drink, and books.

Arturious grew bored with the little game is was playing with gentle breezes and pulled inward holding on to as much of the force as he could letting it build before a moment before push out the strongest wave he could muster. If Alexandra was expecting it then it would not do much more than rustle her hair but if not then it would be more than enough to make her have to pick the book off the ground and open it back up to the page she was on.

All the while Arturious never opened his eyes or uncrossed his arms.

The book had started to lift up but Alex's hand moved to intercept it, placing it back on the ground as she glanced up at Arturious and sent a wave at him as well, this one aimed primarily at his feet as she planned for him to fall right on his face. She returned to her reading though, letting him respond to it or not, she had some reading to do anyways.

Arturious chuckled as a wave was redirected back at him sure one was coming. Arturious simply took a half step back with one foot and leaned into the wave with a small laugh.

When it passed Arturious straightened back up and recrossed his arms looking at Alexandra as she resumed eating and reading.

"You are a pain mister Engel, i am trying to read over here and you seem to be screwing me up for whatever reason that i really dont care that much to delve into. Now are we going to begin your training or are you going to stand there and continue to try and knock my book away from me?"

Arturious smirked.

"That depends on whether the training is going to be more fun than interrupting your reading time."

"This is your training, you are suppose to stand there until i decide when you are ready for the next part. So far you are failing, so shall we try this again?" She turned her head back to the text rather than the sith and seemed to instantly lose all interest in the man just like that.

Arturious laughs and shakes his head.

"You think that little fact escapes me." "A little taste of patience and maybe resolve." "If you were not ready to train Alexandra your could have simply said so instead of making pointless reasons to delay."

Arturious opens his arms motioning around the room.

"This is a training room not a library and certainly not a messhall." "When you are ready you let me know."

Arturious walks over to one of the weapons racks pulling a training saber from it. Arturious then steps into one of the circles and begins practicing some of the basic Makashi stances having wasted enough time already.

She watched him as he did such and simply regarded the basic stances as just that, a stance did not determine ones fighting ability with a form, and this is why she was working on patience right now rather than the actual form, anyone can pick up a blade and use it, someone who is patient and collected can pick up a blade and not only use it but become unstoppable.

Arturious switched up to basic strikes after running over the stances first single strikes overhead, left, right, hitting as many of the angles as he new or could come up with seemingly to have ignored the very presence of Alexandra in the room.

In actuality Arturious was still aware of her presence his focus simply limited to a 6 foot circle around him encase she or anyone else for that matter decided to interrupt his training. As he finished the strikes he switch over to blocks and parries covering angles of approach and attack.

"His stance is off..." She studied him now without even caring about her reading and studied his every step as she muttered to herself. "More fluidity, less adaptation... the form is for one enemy not many." Only a few more seconds passed before she spoke loud enough for him to hear. "Really Engel, is that what you brought me here to see... grab your blade im teaching you right. Damn Sith trainers, incompetent lot that taught you should be ashamed."

Arturious stopped mid parry and turned to Alexandra.

"First I came here to train and second I did not bring you anywhere." "You come of your own free will."

Arturious put the training saber back on the rack.

"You offered training and yet you come into a training room with books and food plopping down on your backside like you are bored from the moment you got here."

Arturious frowned at her comments.

"Do not think I do not know what you were trying to do Alexandra." "You underestimated me the first time we met." "While I went into the duel knowing I would lose I succeeded in the aspect of teaching you as much as you taught me." "It seems you came in here again and underestimated may awareness of what was going on.

Arturious sighed.

"I got here an hour before you Alexandra for the sole purpose of meditation and centering myself before you arrived." "To show the respect of being ready to begin training when you arrived as to not waste your time."

"Instead you came here and wasted mine." "My movements may be flawed but that is precisely why I practice, why I train." "Perhaps tomorrow you will be ready to teach, be ready to train." "If not then I will seek out someone else to train with."

With that Arturious exits the room not looking back.

Alexandra only stands there and shakes her head at the Sith as he walked out, if he wanted to return to his flawed teaching in bladework, very well, she had her own training to do. With that she glanced over to the side and walked back to the book, sitting down slowly and looking at the text before her as she reached out and began touching the minds of those around her, feeling the emotions of those training, the thoughts of those that would be there, and she would continue this well until Engel return, even if a full day later.
