Live Fire is the Best Fire

C S I L L A
Csaplar

Taking a hold of the slugthrowers, I began to hand them out to the people who were in the starport. Those who came were volunteers. They came of their own accord. And while this was to test the abilities of the resin-like plastic substance called "Sheep's Skin" that my company was making, it was also a test for our defenses in the ability to detect threats that came to our capitol. While it may seem slightly fruitless, it was mostly a test for the men who worked and lived here. If they passed, great. If not, then we had more work to do than test textiles.

"You are allowed to freely along your way. You can go anywhere you wish. If you are successfully stopped, present them with the identification of the Iron Empire, and you won't be blamed, or be charged with anything. It's currently 900 hours. Return in twelve hours with your slugthrower. Any questions?"

Leaving it open for anyone else to as questions. Even I myself will be walking towards are more defended areas. Trying to see if people would stop me. While I myself, wouldn't be carrying the weapon, it would be my companion and apprentice Thalia who would be. You would expect someone like me to carry such an item. But a girl, all dressed up, and innocent looking, may not.

While it would be left up for debate as to who would go where, everyone could go as they please.

Elae listened quietly as the man addressed the group. The task she had volunteered for seemed simple enough - explore Csaplar and present her identification if requested.

"So do we have to act inconspicuously or as we normally do?" the pink haired pilot asked, calling out her question and hoped that she would be able to behave as she normally did. Acting inconspicuously sounded like such a bore!

As the bubbly young adult awaited the man's answer, she thought excitedly about all the trouble she would get up to. Unknown to her superiors, Elae intended to use this trial of the textile to sneak into the armoury or wherever they kept starfighter upgrades and borrow a few items. Comet II was practically ready and only needed a few finishing touches.

Softly tilting her head, the young pilot wondered what she should do after attempting to procure upgrades for Comet II. Perhaps she could try sneaking into a bakery and steal a cake or find an alternate entry into the House Palace - the options were endless!
