Description:
The Lussk Logistics Interchangeable Weapon System was one of Lussk Logistics masterpiece creations. It was designed by Lussk Logistics and aided in manufacturing by the Fringe's Iron Crown Armories. The LL-IWS was created with making the perfect infantry weapon in mind. It fielded a main assembly base made out of durasteel and plasteel alloys. The rest of the attachments for transforming it from its original CQB form into 3 different weapons were able to twist and slid on similar to earlier IWS's.
The LL-IWS offered 4 different weapons systems. Its base form was the CQB model for the purpose of Close Quarters Battle in a cramped environment like cities or starships. The CQB's main weakness was range and stopping. It was a highly effective Submachine Gun styled weapon, but often took multiple shots to bring down and enemy at mid-low range. Horrid range, horrid stopping power, decent accuracy, great mobility, and exceptional rate of fire.
The second model is the infantryman's favorite: the Assault variation. Attaching a larger stock and barrel to the CQB, it greatly increased the range and accuracy of the base form. They had more stopping power as well, mainly due to the elongated barrel which increased range as well. Decent range, stopping power, mobility, great accuracy, and rate of fire.
The third model was also highly used by infantrymen: the Breach version. Making this form was accomplished by attaching a fixed stock instead of the folding one offered by the Assault version. Users also usually attached a gas-propelled grenade launcher to the bottom of the attachment rail on the barrel, increasing its destructive potential. Good range, decent stopping power, decent mobility, great accuracy and decent rate of fire.
The last model was favored by operatives and marksmen of the Fringe, the famed Sniper variant. It fielded a barrel almost twice the size of the Assault variant, giving it a massive increase in range and accuracy. This elongated range also doubled its stopping power, giving the ability to bring down a wookie with a single well-placed shot. Its main drawback was its cool-down mechanism. Since it was based off of a CQB design, firing at long ranges took a toll on the internal hardware via heat displacement. This was countered by slowing down the users rate of fire drastically. Exceptional range, great stopping power, horrid mobility, exceptional accuracy, and horrid rate of fire.
