Description: The LLT-16 Vanguard originated as a lighter and smaller version of the EVA vacuum pod to allow Lucerne Labs shipyard employees to work in smaller areas of starships still under construction where the bulky pod could not easily fit. At its core, the LLT-16 is a Enviro-suit fitted with servo-motors for moderately increased user strength and a DRPV-78 Rocket Pack to easily move around in Zero-G environments. Further development of this suit has made it easily applicable beyond spacegoing construction for various space exploration and paramilitary needs. Lucerne Labs markets the suit to scouts, shipyard workers, explorers, scavengers, space troopers, and others who may need to venture out into the depths of space, where it has become a fierce competitor to modified versions of GTU's http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/AV-1s_scout_armor[/FONT]]AV-1s scout armor.
The suit's helmet incorporates a thick ceraglass canopy that provides an excellent sense of vision and reduces claustrophobia. A HUD system incorporating a NiteSite infrared motion sensor allows the user to properly see and work in variety of environments and easily catch sight of impending dangers. The helmet also incorporates a tongue-toggled DH107 comlink to allow the user to easily talk to other members wearing the suit or crewmates back on their home vessel. The torso of the suit mounts the rocketpack on the back and the suit's 8 hour air supply. The suit's left wrist incorporates a http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Laser_cutter/Legends[/FONT]]Laser Cutter, allowing users to cut through metal build things, perform repairs, scavenge for materials, or even use as a short-ranged impromptu weapon. The right wrist incorporates a http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tactical_tractor_beam_projector[/FONT]]personal-scale tractor beam projector, allowing the suit's users to snag objects floating by in space or to draw themselves closer to larger objects such as ships or asteroids. The other feature of note of the Vanguard space armor is the inclusion of http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Magno-grip_boot[/FONT]]Magno-grip boots, which are typically activated to allow users to walk on the exterior of a starship's hull without worrying about floating away in space.
