Strengths
Aquatic: The LLV-4 is designed to be fully submersible at up to depths of 6 kilometers through its use of linksteel & burthan thread body like that of the http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Explorer_Submergible]Explorer Submergible and shield systems derived from those of the http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/DeepWater-class_light_freighter]Deepwater-class Light Freighter.
Anticoncussion field generator: The LLV-4 sports a light anti-concussion field generator, making it somewhat more resistant than normal to projectile attacks.
Advanced Targeting systems: The LLV-4's heavy blaster cannon is linked to Target Acquisition and Tracking sensor array and the general purpose launchers are linked to an ANq 3.6 tracking computer.
Weaknesses
Limited Punch: The Defender's blaster cannon has a fairly short range with a maximum range of 400 meters on land, and an optimum range of 200 meters. These ranges are halved for underwater use. Its general purpose warhead launchers only carry a limited amount of physical munitions, meaning that Defenders typically have to be very selective when firing these weapons.
Slow: The LLV-4 is relatively slow compared to many modern repulsorcraft and even some entirely treaded vehicles like the PX-10.
Large Silhouette: The LLV-4 has a pretty noticeable silhouette, making it harder to conceal and fairly easy to hit with many direct fire weapons systems
Description: The LLV-4 Defender-class Armored Fighting Vehicle is a striking embodiment of the phrase "Jack of all trades, but master of none". While it can carry infantry and battle droids into battle, it cannot carry as many or at high of speeds as many dedicated APCs of its size. While it has enough weaponry to be a threat to most vehicles, its punch is limited enough to prevent it from being effectively used in the traditional tank role. Still, despite these shortcomings, the Defender's adaptability on the chaotic and unpredictable battlefield makes it an asset in any commander's toolbox.
