SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Shield Generator Pairing:
    • Multiple Va'karis Shields can be paired together to prevent total shield collapse.
    • When one shield overloads or goes offline, a secondary shield activates, buying time for the first shield to regenerate.
  • Adaptive Shield Phasing:
    • Operators can adjust shield resistance dynamically based on battlefield conditions. [typically removing one rating from somewhere else and planting it to another catagory]
  • Localized Shielding Nodes:
    • Focuses shield power on high-priority areas for increased survivability.
  • Phase-Bleed Energy Dissipation:
    • Absorbs and redistributes high-energy attacks to prevent immediate overload.
  • Multi-Layered Defense Mechanism:
    • Instead of collapsing instantly, shields cycle between active and cooldown states, extending survivability.

STRENGTHS
  • Redundant Shielding Mechanism: Multiple shields can be networked together, preventing a catastrophic collapse in battle.
  • Highly Adaptive: Can shift resistances dynamically, allowing for real-time battlefield adjustments.
  • Multi-Layer Protection: Prevents total shield failure, allowing ships and units to sustain longer in battle.
  • EMP/Ion Resilience: Features reinforced capacitors to resist electronic warfare attacks.
  • Scalability: Can be used from personal infantry shields to capital ship defenses.

WEAKNESSES
  • Overheat & Cooldown: If all shields are stressed at once, the system can struggle to cycle fast enough, leaving gaps in defense.
  • Weak Against Sonic & Corrosive Attacks: While effective against energy and kinetic attacks, sonic disruptors and corrosive weapons can bypass shields and damage internal systems.
  • Pairing Limitations: Too many active shields at once will cause severe power drain, overwhelming reactors and forcing an emergency shutdown.
  • Shield Phase Lag: Adjusting resistances in real-time takes a few seconds, leaving a small window where the shield is less effective.
  • Physical Objects Can Still Pass: While it blocks energy and projectiles, slow-moving physical objects (like debris or asteroids) may pass through.
  • Gravitic Manipulation Weakness: While resistant, powerful gravitational distortions can destabilize shield integrity.

DESCRIPTION
The LO-VX "Va'karis" Modular Adaptive Shield System is the Lilaste Order's most advanced shielding technology, offering scalable and redundant defenses for infantry, vehicles, and starships.

Unlike traditional shields that fully collapse when overloaded, Scale Shields can be paired with additional generators, ensuring continued protection even when one shield fails. If a shield suffers a power drain or shutdown, the secondary shield activates, buying valuable time for the primary shield to regenerate and reactivate. This redundant shielding mechanism significantly increases survivability in prolonged battles.

The Va'karis System features adaptive phasing, which allows operators to fine-tune defenses in real-time. It also utilizes localized shielding nodes to reinforce critical areas when needed. The Phase-Bleed Dissipation System further enhances survivability by spreading the impact of massive energy blasts, reducing overload risks.

For infantry, the shield functions as personal defense barriers or squad-based protection, offering high resistance to blasters and explosives but moderate protection against lightsabers. Vehicle-grade models enhance the durability of dropships, walkers, and armored vehicles, while capital ship variants integrate into fleet-wide defensive networks, allowing warships to prioritize shielding where it's needed most.

While the Va'karis System is exceptionally durable, its reliance on high energy consumption means extended battles can drain power reserves. Additionally, overheated shields require cooldown time, and if all shields are stressed at once, gaps in defense can emerge. The system is also vulnerable to Force-based attacks, sonic disruptors, and corrosive weaponry.

Despite its limitations, the Va'karis Shield System is a game-changer, ensuring the Lilaste Order's forces maintain unmatched battlefield durability and survivability.

Laphisto Laphisto It's just the chart in general. Most people are not gonna want to track that for a post. I'd prefer if you just split it up, as the majority of writers on chaos just want to find a single rating to check for their posts.

Splitting it up is for other's benefit, as it'll make it easier for people to check ratings, instead of having to parse charts.

Rara Gowisi Rara Gowisi I can see where your coming from to a degree but it's just a quick glance, and iv seen it done this way for other systems previously.

Pulse people do split rating all the time for star ships based on if certain systems are activated or not. And I really don't want to have to deal with hyperlinking separate submissions, I would prefer to keep it uniform in one localized spot
