Long Forgotten Salvage.

"You got the coordinates?" Var's voice said with a hint of irritation to the comando droid sitting in the pilot's seat.

The Droid just stayed silent as it continued to pilot the light freighter to it's destination. The scavenger groaned. He stood up out of the copilot's seat. "You know Five-Eight, you really get on my nerves." Varashaal said to the Droid as he stretched his arms out.

The droid turned it's head, barely glancing at the man. "Are you still brooding about what happened last night?" The droid asked with a somewhat snarky attitude. Var scowled as he moved back to his seat.

"Shut up you rust bucket, I can scrap you for spare parts." Var said, sounding a bit hurt. Five-Eight let out a monotone chuckle.

"It's not my fault you got turned down three times at the bar. You aren't a very good flirt Vara." The Droid said. Var rolled his eyes.

"Whatever. Just put the ship on autopilot, we gotta get our gear ready. Make sure you have a full stock of ammo. I'll go check on the speeders and make sure they're functional for the haul... Hopefully we get something nice." Var said as he walked out of the cockpit.

Varashaal made his way to the cargobay where a few speeders sat. He pulled out his datapad and made sure the speeders vere linked to it.

"Ok. Good..."

Var smiled. He had received a message from a potential employer to meet at set coordinates. Apparently there was good salvage. Of what? Var had little idea, but credits were credits. He needed to get a better ship and get new parts.

Var walked out of the cargobay and into his personal quarters. Scattered around the room was odds and ends, pieces of speeders, droids, and various scrap. He grabbed his blaster pistol from a locker and holstered it.

Just as he did a voice came over the ship's intercom. "Var, we are entering the planet's atmosphere."

"Ok, thanks Five-Eight, as soon as we land we'll have to meet with our employer. Remember be nice." Var said as he walked back to the cockpit. The Droid nodded as it engaged the landing sequence.

Var smiled as he looked out the viewport and noticed huge forests and swamps.

"Well at least it isn't sand right?" Var said as the ship landed and the docking rap extended out to the ground. Instantly after exiting the ship the moisture in the air was apparent.

It was muggy as hell.

"Hm do you think all this trees will be a problem?" Var said as he scanned the perimeter.

"Possibly. It might be harder to get salvage back, and or anything could be hiding in the brush." Five-Eight said as it readied it's blaster rifle.

"Just keep your sensors peeled rustbucket. We're looking for our employer." Var said as he pulled out his datapad. These were the coordinates.

A little ways away from where [member="Varashaal"] coordinates pointed sat a black cloaked figure atop the ruined remains of what looked like an AT-ST walker. In the figures hand rested a black bound tome that he was currently writing in, his hooded face glancing off to the crashed star destroyer. It was a magnificent sight, seeing the land having begun to reclaim the broken ship bit by bit. How long had it been in this grave, unknown to the rest of the galaxy?

Kahlil snapped the book closed as he heard the footfalls of the man he had hired and his droid. Leaping down from his little perch he flicked back his hood, his silver hair falling around his shoulders some. "Ah, there you are. Are you ready?"

Varashaal smiled as the cloaked man jumped off the fallen AT-ST. Var took a second to assess the man across him.

"Of course, I can't wait to check out some of the wreckages." Var paused as he looked to the AT-ST. "And judging by that walker, I can only assume that there'll be great stuff." Var said with a smile.

"Name's Varashaal by the way. Call me Var." Var said. He turned his head to Five-Eight.

"Five-Eight, do me a favor and make sure the area is secure. Don't want anything coming too close to the camp while we check out the wreckages." Var said to the comando droid.

The Droid nodded and began scanning the area near the ship.

Varashaal turned to his employer and cocked his head. "But what exactly are you looking for?" Vara asked

The man then peered off to the star destroyer.

"Kahlil." The Sith bowed his head as he gave his name, his smile warm and welcoming. [member="Varashaal"] and his droid seemed competent, which only meant the Zambrano hadn't wasted his money on hiring them. "Nothing specific yet. There's a lot of ruined ships throughout the Galaxy. Until I know which this one is, I won't know what to look for. So, we'll head to the bridge and see which of the numerous missing vessels this is." The near nine foot tall human turned his gaze towards the wreckage.

"Let's be off."
