Long Time Comin'

From one battle to the next, operatives in the First Order were deployed. Some more notable than others, and yet, there were some that didn't acquire the recognition that they deserved.

Graush would make the necessary amends to that.

But first, XAG-1 would be the one to evaluate these Agents for the Defense Minister. The Security Minister was not but an afterthought.

His Master granted him a certain level of anonymity and freedom within the Order, in that, he only answered to his Master, yet in truth he was more or less an undocumented 'Agent' of the Order.

And so, the Operative [member="Jude Falkrowe"], was summoned to the office of the Supreme Commander to, likely encounter the man who saved his life on the Superweapon over Castameer almost three years ago.

Supreme Commander Graush.

"Ah, how time flies." Jude mused to himself as he made his way through a labyrinth of hallways and turbolifts to reach the office of the Supreme Commander.

The man had been a mere officer back on Castameer but an officer who had saved his life after that nightmare that was the Omega superweapon.

Falkrowe couldn't help but wonder why was he being summoned by the chief of the First Order's military.

The doors to the office slid open and he did not see Graush but someone...else?

"Supreme..."

"...Commander?"

That's some serious anti-aging cremes the SC had been using.

"No."

Malek turned, the much smaller form turned around to face the FOSB Operative, the blinds of the window behind him fluttering behind him as his fingers slipped away from the shutters.

"Please, take a seat." He said, straightening out the all black baggy clothing that he wore, as if it that would help them not look as ruffled. And then, he took a seat in his Master's chair.

"You don't know me, but I know you. And there's a mission for us to complete."

Malek blinked, waiting for the response he sought.

Jude did not have a smartass response to the scruffy looking man. And if he did, it was not the place nor time.

He took the seat cautiously after it was offered and put his elbow on one of the arm rests.

"So what I see is - an operation off the FOSB books. Sanctioned by the Supreme Commander. "

"I am not the one to discuss where one authority ends and where the other starts but I do have a question."

"Why?"

Whatever the answer, Jude owed his life to Graush and he always paid his debts.

He'd work off the books.

Graush was Sith.

Warrior.

Killer.

Commander.

Gone up and beyond the chain of command, led more operations than senior officers twice his age, and those older men had become his juniors in terms of authority, and now the Supreme Commander was considered a Moff.

Very few of his peers could actually claim to have a record such as he, still remaining the most decorated soldier within the First Order's military.

Yet, Sith he remained.

Undoubtedly there were reservations as to where his true loyalties ran while there rested a Sith Empire on the other side of the Galaxy. Why is he content in the Outer Rim with Imperials?

"I'm sure you'll figure it out." Malek said softly.

"We're going to Yalara for this mission. I'll brief you on the way.

...

If you accept."

Jude grimaced and remained silent for a moment. He did not have much of a choice, obviously and so he reluctantly stood up.

"Understood." He said seriously. "Let's go."

Yalara.

No point bothering his own mind with the question as the answer would very soon be revealed.
