Look what I found!

Technovore continued trudging along the world of Ord Mantell. It was a nice planet...at least that's what he thought. He had never been to any other planets, but occasionally he had caught glimpses of them on the Holonet.

In the distance he thought he could see a dilapidated home or building of some sort, perhaps that would be good to visit. Maybe he could find something useful, like credits. He desperately wanted to go out into the galaxy and explore, but having no money or ship made that quite difficult.

As he entered the home, he took notice of a crashed staircase and how the entire upper floor had seemingly slanted off of the building and ended up directly beside it, almost as if two homes had just been built next to eachother. In the far corner he saw something shiny and covered in muck. It held an organic form within it and seemed to be some sort of refrigerator from what he could tell.

He went to it, hoping to see what was inside the refrigerator, but he discovered it had a lock on it. Thankfully, he simply held his hand to it and watched as tendrils of his own coding snapped and choked away the control of the refrigerator, activating it with a hiss.
This might not actually be a refrigerator. He thought as he took a few steps back

The man in the chamber opened his eyes for the first time in centuries. His gold eyes almost piercing through the droid that found him. "Ugh... where am I...?" The man spoke with a somewhat groggy tone to his voice.

Technovore took a singular step forward, apparently it was just a person...nothing horribly terrible to be afraid of. Which was good, because Technovore did not want to have any problems with things, he was just here to look for items that he might make into credits so he could leave this place.

He had to think for the name to come to mind...it was there, somewhere...just a little hidden. It was...Ord Mantell wasn't it? That's what he would say anyways, no need to disappoint this poor fellow.
"You are on Ord Mantell, you were trapped in the refrigerator." He said calmly as he watched the fellow curiously.

"... All I remember was some bastard freezing me on Mustafar... and my ship blowing up there... heh, sounds like I'm back where I came from though, but things look... bleak... how long was I here...?" The man spoke, now a little confused.

[member="Technovore"]

Technovore shrugged, not entirely sure what a Mustafar was. It sounded like a place though, a very angry sounding place. That or a very far away place, which sort of made sense in the logic that it was called Musta-far. Maybe it means "Must I Far"? He thought as he shook himself out of his thinking trance.

He didn't really know what to tell this person, they were obviously confused and looking for answers. Technovore held no answers however, after all he had only been alive for a couple of days now. It was odd having people ask you things when they so obviously held more information then you did.
"I do not know. Based on the structural damage to this building, i'd say a fairly long time." He replied with a motion towards the home.

"... Goddamn Silas... you really did a number on me by freezing me in there..." The man spoke almost silently as if he knew the droid would be confused about it. "What century am I even in now..." He now spoke louder than when he was reflecting on the past.

Technovore repeated an action he had already previously committed, he shrugged. It really did confuse him why this random person who he had just rescued from what amounted to a refrigerator was asking him questions about things that; even if he could answer, would simply confuse the person more. After all, why would you mention a large event and then just leave the person hanging.

Technovore supposed he could make something up, that would be reasonable wouldn't it be? Maybe it would soothe this fellows appetite for knowing about things that had far out-dated him.
"It is the...35th century. The current galactic ruler is...Serveki The Great?" He spoke quietly, unsure about this new story-telling he'd started. Probably not my best idea.

"Oh ha ha... perhaps the Sith would know more about this era." The man spoke with an eerie calm in his voice, getting back his bearings.

Technovore nodded, whatever a Sith was it probably did know more about the era than he did. Being created just a couple of days ago was really putting a hamper on his social skills. Maybe next time he ran into an electronic he would try to use it to reach the Holonet again. That thing had been huge and filled with information.

It had also been filled with other things, he admitted. Especially slicers and the like, preying upon the poor defenseless devices which seemed to surround the universe.
"Probably, I would recommend finding them." He spoke quietly as he continued watching the old fellow.

The man then nodded. "I think this planet has seen enough damage. Let's leave for now. My name, or rather my title, is Darth Anarchis." The man then walked out slowly

Technovore simply nodded once, gradually following the man outside of the building and looking out upon the area surrounding the old dilapidated home. It wasn't so bad really, he wasn't entirely sure what all the damage was supposed to be from, didn't most worlds look quite similar to this one.

He stopped as he exited outside, watching the man's back as he went.
"I thank you for your offers to travel, but I must continue my searching. Goodbye [member="Darth Anarchis"]" He said as he watched the figure, he didn't quite trust him enough to follow him around, and besides he really did need to find credits for that ride off planet.

Darth Anarchis then stopped in his tracks. "Droid, I have some credits for a ride off here if you wish to follow me or at least tell me where to go." He then did something he hasn't done in ages... he smiled.

[member="Technovore"]

Technovore shrugged slightly at the offer of credits. On the one hand this person had a title which was equivalent to Lord, and many Lords weren't very nice to people...at least that was what he figured.
On the other hand this person was smiling and offering him money and a way off planet.

He needed to take this offer, it may be the only chance he had of leaving.
"If I take you to a spaceport, will you give me credits so I can fly away from here?" He asked carefully, watching the Lord with some caution.

"Alright, it is a deal then. Would 3,000 credits get you offworld these days however? I figure since you are helping this old sith lord out, I may as well help you out." The smile turned into a smirk as he thought Fate has given Silas a middle finger now as he's back in the galaxy and Silas is long dead.

Technovore gave a simple shrug as he continued analyzing the man in front of him. This so called Lord seemed to have quite a lot of money on him, at least 3000 seemed like a large amount of money. It was a fairly large number anyhows, especially when in reference to low value things.

"I believe that would be sufficient." He said quietly as he continued his following.

"Good, I had a bank account before I was frozen, I believe it's still around... if not, all I have is 4000 anyway. I can deal with 1k for a while." Darth Anarchis said as he walked

Technovore simply nodded before he scanned the horizon for the direction of what he had taken to be some form of off-world travel company. It had been at his back, towards the sun when he had started, now the sun was at his front...which meant that the off-world place should also be in his front.

His logic seemed correct and so he stretched out a metallic hand and pointed before he began walking.
"This way, Lord." He spoke softly as he moved.

(This thread is my only one that matters chronologically as time does not matter much here... so far anyway XD))

Anarchis walked with the droid silently
