Look Where You're Going

Judah had been traveling so much all the worlds started to look the same to him. This was just another random place where he would find some kind of good to do. There were always injustices in the world, and Judah sought to make them right again. He couldn't stand the fact certain things were the way they were. The needy often went without the basic needs of food and shelter. Sometimes the wealthy were exploited because of their position. The systems of most worlds were rigged for the benefit of those in power. Nar Shaddaa was less so. It was rigged so that the one who had the most connections got what they wanted. Sure there were those who actually tried to make a life on the smuggler's moon, but there were others who took advantage of the fact the system was rather beneficial.

It was nothing to turn the corner and walk into some kind of illegal deal going down. Most of the law enforcement on the world were on the take somehow, and the real enforcers were the gangs which littered the streets. Occasionally Judah found himself drawn to the place. You were guaranteed to run into a few displaced Corellians, most of whom didn't need the help, but on occasion, they did. The Jedi was still trying to work the world out in his mind, and this seemed as good as a place as any to do that.

The results of his trip to Malachor V and the subsequent conversation with Teynara, a woman he'd asked to train him, had left him confused about the way he thought the world should be. What was Judah doing? He was running again in a way. His mind couldn't take the fact he'd chosen someone questioning the very order he had come to trust. In truth, he was as well, though he would never admit it. Would he go so far as to leave it all behind? Judah couldn't say that, he just knew that right now he didn't want to be on Voss.

Funny he had been musing that it was nothing to turn the corner and find yourself in the middle of something, because that's what Judah did. As he turned the corner of the street he suddenly found himself in the middle of some kind of chase. A couple of men were running from a.... woman? This was not unheard of on Nar Shaddaa either, and it was honestly hard to tell who was the one in the wrong. Judah mused it was likely all three, but because he didn't see it coming he ran right into the woman, or she ran into him. Either way the chase came to an abrupt halt for the woman, as both we on the ground of the dirty street.
