Looking For a More Lore-Friendly Republic style faction

Who is also looking for said lore-friendly Republic style RPing? I ask because it seems we have most other factions covered. Sith, Dark Side cultists, the NJO, Imperial remnants and First Order are all well-represented.

However, there seems to be that big void. We would need senators and ambassadors, military and special forces, and a more traditional Jedi Order. I am talking something more akin to current canon. A Republic more easily recognizable to a casual passer-by of this board.

Less morally grey, more Light-sided. Basically playing the good guys or the ones who try to be good. Accountable to democratic process and law.

Is there anything you would want to add to this kind of faction?

Depends on the specific concept and execution. Other wise I think most people would rather stick with GA as their good guy faction of choice.

[member="Dune Rhur"] - Galactic Alliance or Silver Jedi Order are the two best majors that fit your description. Both are good guys, both use Jedi extensively in their lore and such.

Well I have a new faction aiming for major that is structured currently more like a territory in the old West right now. It is about trying to build up and revitalize systems/worlds so it sort of fits that group trying to do what they think is right vibe. No force user order though, but that is mostly because there isn't enough force users yet to justify one right now. Does that work for you any?

The GA is NJO as I had said and the structure is a military junta.

The Silvers don't feel really much like a canon-ish lore friendly Republic. That's what I am talking about. Neither faction is casually recognizable as what I mentioned.

Unfortunately they have murdered civilians for little reason in the past on several occasions. That's not really lore friendly so much with what I am talking about. I don't think I could run the Jedi, for example, I want in that circumstance.

They are a new major that seems to be VERY light side, that seems to be their focus. Hate to steer a good writer to another faction but to be honest think they may be the best fit for all your points, not tots republic but they check off the good jedi boxes.

Ok well just about every faction on Chaos has Senators or Ambassadors, Military and Special Forces. At least 3 have traditional or pseudo-traditional Jedi orders.

At least 2 or 3 have light side order components and try to be "good".

How do you in your concept intend to achieve accountability to democratic law and process? What steps do you intend to take IC and OOC to ensure things do not slip into the morally grey area?
