So, I think many of you know now that I have taken over Kuat Drive Yards, rebuilt it and its Orbital Array, and perhaps even think I've made some interesting Character Development.
Well, I have posted it publicly a few times that Kuat Drive Yards explicitly is separate from Kuat, but perhaps some of you have missed that. We are just a company, housed at a planet. Like if there was a business in the United States of America and it was called U. S. Arms & Armaments; it doesn't mean the U.S. owns it, nor does the company own the U.S.
We are separate now (aside from canon/originally) because with the death of Kuat Drive Yards as a company, its people still remained. With its death, the people had to rely on themselves for production, manufacturing, and transport. Whether that be freighters, security, or food. So it makes sense. As big as the company and the Orbital Array was, it was also expensive, for just one planet to invest in.
Some of you may think I lead or rule Kuat, but in fact, I'm looking for someone else to rule it. In relation to the Inheritance Exemption, and because I would enjoy watching the development of a character realizing its heritage and working and earning its place on the throne of Kuat. Of course, this now excludes the Kuat Drive Yards company, but you would have an entire planet and wealth and whatnot to make something new, or bring back something old.
No one is required to work with me, of course, anyone can roleplay anything. The board is freeform.
But if someone was willing to work with me, I'd work with you. You'd have the backing of the entire company, and Ferron, to reinstating the Kuat leadership of Kuat.
I am especially interested, if possible, if you would be willing to play a female Kuati of the lineage, and possibly marry Ferron. It would do more to his character development, and make him feel like less of an outsider, but none of that is required.
I would just love to see someone pull off something similar to what Zeradias Mant did with Coruscant First, and reinstate the Kuat family. And so that KDY can work fluidly and smoothly with the planet they call their home.
I would enjoy being ruler, but my character would be uncomfortable as he has no legitimate rule to it, and it would feel forced/strong armed. Plus, I consider KDY as strong as ruling a planet or more, now.
Please inquire with ideas or suggestions, I'd love to hear them. And please be open, I'd like to hear more than just a "yes" or "I'll give it a thought"
