So not to take away from Tiland, just offering other options if you want more:
Xos Drikre fits the philosophical side. He's a Baran Do Sage, meditation is extremely common for them and they have an emphasis on peaceful methods and often work more as advisors than anything else (though they do practice martial arts, and can be skilled at telikinesis as well as some having use of a lightside white lightning) Precognition and force visions are where they usually go. Xos is very much this type, heavily leaned to peace and the lightside and very non-judgemental and friendly. And would eagerly help anyone he can at the temple. He also carries a staff (which can be used as a lightsaber) that has a crystal with particular properties. Including hindering the dark side and even making dark sided individuals feel uneasy or even scared around it trying to leave. He isn't an extremely experienced lightsaber wielder, but he has some training. And has plenty of martial arts knowledge.
(Alternatively, I have Kaiburr, who is a sentient crystal shard. He is also a sage, but not as powerful or in tune with the force as Xos. He only has a staff. But he is more actively capable in physical combat. He uses a robotic body which his shard is inside of controlling it. He would also be very philosophy and peace oriented. Right now he's often on Alderaan serving as an occasional bodyguard I think for official matters)
Salis enjoys teaching people stuff and isn't in the best mood right now due to the death of her husband. So she might do just about anything. She is a skilled duelist but is just very combat oriented in general. She's dark sided, but wouldn't actually try and convince him that that's the best way. Basically she pretty much considers it "do whatever you want, light side, dark side, I don't care." She doesn't however know the light very much. She has a much wider range of skills than Xos, but is far less philosophical. She might want something in return though.
