This thread is a tool to help people seek a compatible character/writer to match up with their own character for learning arcs. We all know how quickly things can get lost in the lfg chats so this will hopefully be a helpful resource which is more static.

Post your requests in this discussion thread using the code below, or using the code as a guide for information that people might like to know. Only post requests here, and keep further discussion to messages or discord to prevent clutter. Once you have found a partner, try to remember to either delete your request or mark it as taken just for ease of use. Of course, if you are a particularly prolific master you might mention in the anything else section that you wish to take on multiple students, and that is fine too.

This is Annika's first attempt at teaching as she is only recently a Knight and perhaps she is not ready. She will likely end up more as a co-conspirator than a distinct Master/Servant dynamic.

Defining personality traits	Subtle disrespect. As Firrerreos as a species believe names hold and give power over others, he both refuses to give his own and in turn uses other's names as much and as often as possible. Despite this, he's heavily respectful of power. Not those in power, but actual power. There is a difference to him, and he will only show respect to those he deems deserving of it.
Subject focus (eg. melee, mental powers, elementalism etc.)	Sorcery and Alchemy. He's already got a Familiar, and he very much wants to expand that knowledge and those skills.
Relationship with partner (eg. friends, hostile, bully, murderous intent)	Full on Sith. He's learning more about the Sith, but he will very much be subscribing to the 'kill your master' story that comes with Sith.

Where he got his information to build his Familiar, where he got the materials, all of that is very much left blank for the purpose of slotting in a master behind the scenes. So, take that, if you want to. He's also big on the Academy side so he'll be there for sure. Sponsor him, if ya want.

Defining personality traits	Stubborn, growing up with an air of royalty, Quinn is very much set in her ways. She's used to getting her way and if she doesn't, she finds a way to make sure her desires are met. Quinn tends to believe herself above others, but behind the mask she has a compassion that rivals a Jedi. She wears her heart on her sleeve despite many efforts to hide it.
Subject focus	Mentalism, Echani Hand to Hand combat, Sorcery, may dabble in Alchemy as she works on it.
Relationship with partner	Teacher and Student, eventually friends and allies

Story progression speed	Up to the Apprentice, I personally like the slow burn and building a partnership, but if the other writer wants something faster I'm open to it, as much as this is for me, I want to make sure to tailor the experience to the apprentice
Flexibility of story	Very flexible, at the whims of the apprentice since its a huge journey for them. Always there to support and have fun!
Thread tastes	Anything but war posting, too many things going on at once for my small brain, but open to learn if the apprentice enjoys it
Prefer not to	Not looking for potential love interest (your character is allowed to crush, but know that nothing will come of it, unrequited love is a good story angle trust!) or looking for extreme depravities. I can't quick post so if you're looking for rapid posts in one day, I'm not the person for you.

Anything Else?​

Quinn is going to be heavily involved with teaching at the Academy on Jutrand, if you're a student there perfect we can work some angles there.

OOC Note: I tend to have random long moments of not posting, I do appreciate the casual poke, but work tends to get in the way especially since I do story/character/creative writing for work. It tends to wear the muse out and I need to let the old girl rest. I ask for patience and communication.

Defining personality traits	Wide-eyed and winging it, unwittingly deceptive, social mimic Adean has gotten where she is in life based off lies and assumptions, only rather than 'fake it til you make it' she's operated under a 'fake it until you can sneakily fake something else' approach.
Subject focus (eg. melee, mental powers, elementalism etc.)	Basic force abilities with future interest in mentalism, stealth, maybe battle meditation?
Relationship with partner (eg. friends, hostile, bully, murderous intent)	Mentor. Fully open to being manipulated/black mailed the whole time or being a trusted confidant/eventual friend and nearly everything in between.

Adean's story and abilities are very intentionally left pretty ambiguous - is she inclined towards stealth or is she just lucky (or unlucky, depending on who you ask)? How much of it is an active choice? There's one way to know and I'm excited to find out. Otherwise, her first instinct is to lie and her second is to double down. Feel free to call her on it.

OOC: I keep wild schedules throughout the year and anxiety is a fickle thing so please hold me to keeping conversations going. The more engaged I'm with the people, the more I'm able to stick around. Similarly, I'm so very understanding when life and muse go different directions, just keep me in the know!

Defining personality traits	Holds personal honor to a very high degree, which is a racial trait, so he is unlikely to betray or backstab others
Subject focus (eg. melee, mental powers, elementalism etc.)	Wants to hone his swordsmanship, as well as learn how to create weapons imbued through Sith alchemy; Force powers/abilities
Relationship with partner (eg. friends, hostile, bully, murderous intent)	More formal or stern is fine; true Master-apprentice relationship

Anything Else?​

Veradun is Revna Marr’s adopted little brother - and though he looks up to her and those around her, he is not her. He has his own personality, his own ambitions, etc. He is bound by a sense of honor, which is a Nagai (his race type) trait, though a lot of things the Nagai are known for won’t be as strong in him as he wasn’t raised around others of his own kind. That being said, he has a ruthless streak in him and will not hesitate to do what needs to be done. Right now Veradun is independent and not tied to any ideology or belief system, and as a youth he can easily be corrupted or swayed to one side or another, as he respects those in authority - so long as they don’t step on his honor. Currently he is in the Jutrand Academy, and he has sponsors, but he will be needing a more official Master/Mentor at some point!

OOC: Would prefer someone who can post fairly regularly - please no month or longer delays unless unavoidable and please let me know if this is going to happen. I’m pretty easy going and understanding but I value communication. Feel free to message me about ideas/plots/plans; if you have a specific way you want to train or a certain way you wish to mold your student/apprentice, I’m game for that! Kivah is a cyberpunk street runner. Her usual pastime is prize fighting in the Corporate Sector Authority, though she also moonlights as a mercenary, even working for the Sith a few times. Ultimately I'd like to turn her into a Sith Assassin archetype, leaning into her appreciation for hunting and walking a fine line.
