LFG Looking for Nerds to go on an Adventure

Yup, title is self explanatory. Just whipped up a new thing called the Ouroboros Exploration Society, a group of thrill-seeking, fun loving scientists that are about to set off into the great unknown for discovery and all that good stuff. Outbound Flight vibes, a big ol' ship that the can be explored and fleshed out as a location (Lotus Expeditionary Information Frigate | L.E.I.F. for ship reference), and perhaps some kooky things out where nobody's been before. The Rishi Maze will be the target, past the Zareca String into uncharted territory. Expect hostile environments, cosmic horrors beyond your understanding, maybe a cult, and of course free food. So yeah, if that sounds like a good time throw your interest in here. I think 10 is a good max for what I'm looking for, and of course dweebs will take priority. I will not elaborate further. As the L.E.I.F. approaches a planet covered in an impenetrable black fog, systems begin to fail, and strange hallucinations plague the crew. The fog itself seems to be a living entity, absorbing the energy of anything that enters it. When part of the ship is enveloped by the fog, cutting off communication with half the crew, the rest must venture into the mist to rescue them, all while battling an entity that warps reality itself.
