Welcome to to the One Sith!
There are many things to do. You can always post a Looking for Group and just find someone to RP with. Or you could begin looking for a Master to train under by consulting our Registry: Trainers and get in touch with some teachers. You can also go to our Master & Apprentice Request Thread and advertise yourself as a candidate for apprenticeship.
The golden rule of starting out is "Take Initiative". So get in there and strut your stuff! Even if you're not looking for a master, it's a good way of getting in touch with other writers and building your story.
There are some things you could get active in, and if you have no experience with them and would like some guidance you can always ask for someone to accompany you and show you the ropes. Or at least explain and give some advice on PM.
We have a couple of Dominions going on. Which are threads where we take dominion over a planet or system. The faction writes a story on how they take over the system. Each writer can only post 20 times and there are usually objectives to help guide the thread along. I would advice asking for a guide on your first run, but you will soon get the hang of them.
We also have a number of Skirmishes going on, which is a small battle between factions. It would be a chance to get a taste of PvP, but here too I would advice tagging along and learning the ropes first. It may also be an idea to get some initial training first.
But in the end, the Boards is your oyster. RP responsibly, be fair, and don't be afraid to ask questions

If you want to keep your sheet on hand, you can have it under your tags with the @Mention.
Just click your name on the top left of the site, then go to My Settings. From there, scroll down and copy the link from your sheet into the slot that says Character Bio Link. Save, and you will always have your sheet a click away.
