Looking to get my characters off the Ground

I have three characters now A Pure Blood Sith, Human/Valkryi who was raised Mando'ade and a Zabrak Smuggler. My Sith Pure-Blood is working toward becoming a Jedi but one that walks a more grey path eventually currently he's on Corusant and is really just there for the moment till I can move him off that world and get him more developed. My Human/Valkryi is looking for an RP to enter but I'd like to start him with more Character building RP's first. As for my Smuggler the same thing goes I need to develop some enemies and a recurring love interest.

I'm really just looking for RP's for them and to cut my teeth on as while I'm not new to role playing I am new to the site and I'm not sure how developing your character works without messing someone else's up.

Well he could be searching for Materials to make his first pair of Lightsaber and ends up needing the Gem for it. Perhaps he's supposedly being led somewhere by a smuggler who claims to have a few but instead intend to kill him when your character appears having overheard what he was look for and decided to follow him since a Sith Pureblood is probably a rare sight.
