Looks like your Muse is shot

So, for the last few months I've noticed a steady decline in my muse when it comes to characters - that being - that my muse is shot.

I'll come up with an idea for a character, faction or otherwise a thread and cant bring myself to focus on it or develop it beyond the base idea. At this moment any real creative thought has been focused on an idea - more like a goal - I've had for some time; that being a project to fill out the empty Hexes on the Map via the Codex Planet Submission section.

Beyond that, I can't really seem to focus or otherwise dedicate much attention to any one character or idea - which has been me lose interest and otherwise need to force myself in what few threads I have going. Much have - due to my own lack of interest and dwindling muse - fallen to the way side and become inactive or otherwise abandoned.

What I'm looking for at this point is some, well, pointers.

How do you deal with the lose of muse?

I know I don't have the best track record or otherwise reputation on this site - and wouldn't blame others for any unkind words I may deserve or otherwise brought unto myself - though I feel like I could (and still want) to do more with Amelia; and understand that I made major mistake and missteps with the character - and bridges have been burned to much of my own chagrin and stupidity.

If you have any ideas, or means that you think would work on bringing back muse, I'd love to hear them.

4. Nobody cares. Here. Do this. Hold up your hand to your screen. Now extend your middle finger to your laptop and repeat after me, "I'm flicking off my computer screen because Jay told me too and now I just feel silly and still have no idea how this is suppose to help my muse and..." Yeahhh. See my point. It's the internet. It's fan writing. Nobody cares.

Repeat steps 1 - 3. Profit. :D :p
