Loose lips

Zeltros, Northern Province

Desmond eyed the shady establishment carefully. It had blaster marks all over the front, neon signs exclaimed things about cheap women, and a transient sat outside begging for money. It was just the Chiss’s kinda dive. Desmond was off duty and searching for a place to blow off some steam. While he was now in the upper echelon of the Imperial ranks he still preferred joints like these, simply because they reminded him of home. A sweet escape from the shady veiled threats, high lingo speech, and pomposity of the rest of the Imperial officers. He enjoyed the luxuries the Empire had to offer him, but he despised the people.

Regardless the order the Empire brought with it to other territories was absolute and even more than women, this was something Desmond could get behind. He tossed the bum a coin as he entered the dance club. (One of many on Zeltros). He immediately found the amount of pheromones sickening. Des’s cybernetic bio implant quickly filtered out the toxins and he found it a little easier to breath. He walked to the bar and tapped the counter.

The Zeltron bartender approached and gave the Chiss a wink then said gayly “You look like a brandy kind of guy,”

Desmond smirked, even the men here were trying to hit on him.

“You are correct, Corellian please,” He announced in his rich Imperial accent.

The bartender gave him an inquisitive eye and Desmond realised his slip up. He had forgot to mask his accent.

“Damn pirates have been terrorizing the freight lanes again,” He quickly said, attempting to pass himself off as a cargo hauler. The Bartender took the bait and nodded

“Dangerous work for a cutie like you,” He said as he set the drink down in front of Desmond.

Desmond sighed, thankful the bartender was a dim wit. He idly sipped his drink and turned, so that he could watch a few of the dancing girls work.

Another day...anither dance...more lost hope if she'll ever get off this blasted planet. Party planet they said! Paradise they advertised! Blah all poodoo, omce you loved on it the entire time especially in the shady areas like such you simply cane to realize ot was all a lie to get peiple to come who wanted spice, booze, and a woman or guy.

This is what the zeltron nisa luma thought, a dancer at this shady establishment, had seen the great side of life and now the dark side. She was the next up, taking a breath as she closed her eyes and reminded herself that this was to get off the planet to a better life, to see something rather then this place.

She strode on out, pinkish skin reflecting the light as the crowd cheered as she sighed. She took a hold of that pole as she had for...bloody hell years nearly now...simce she was 18 at least. She jistbwent through the usual motions her body bending in ways only a skilled dancer could, wasn't long her dancer was over and she gave a short bow and left off the stage to the back.

There was a door to the back bit was guard by a bouncer who could possibly be swayed...knowimg the place anyone with credits could

Desmond watched as the next dancer took the stage. She was a beautiful, just like most Zeltrons. But, something caught Desmond’s eye more than the rest had. Was that a tear rolling down her cheek? Desmond thought to himself as he watched the woman perform a dance that could captivate even a stone. She moved with grace, cunning, and a sadness that pulled at Desmond’s heart strings.

He had to rescue her. He downed the rest of his Corellian brandy then made his way through the smoke filled, crowded bar room. Shoving his way to the back Desmond caught eye of the bouncer.

“I am registered a VIP,” He said nonchalantly “I’ll have admittance or else,”

The big burly bartender merely laughed then gave Desmond the stink eye “Or else what bud?” He said obviously not buying what Desmond had to say.

“Sorry,” Desmond mumbled.

“What?” The bartender said, never expecting what was to come next.

Desmond swung faster than a hawk swoops upon its prey. His fist connected with the bartender’s face and he shook his hand a bit as the bouncer slumped over, knocked out cold. Desmond made his way into the back room and began searching for the girl with the tear in her eye. Perhaps it was the brandy or pheromones, but for some reason he felt compelled to save her.

A tear did fall, though only a few would see and most would only think it was sweat from thedamcimg. Except one trained eye of course. She moved to her room the door opening as she looked around the room, nothing really if importance that was at her house. However she closed the door or well least enough it had light pouting into the hall

She took out a small chest full of credits, she put the ones she had gotten in as she sighed, still wasn't enough least not for a good start without ending up somewhere and doing what she was doing again or worse. She sat at he rrbale looking into the mirror. Her hands going to fix her hair as she realized the tear in her cheek and wiped it away...hiw long had it been there?

Her thoughts interrupted, she heard commotion and someone falling. Daring to peek put she looked and spotted the chiss, she would be viable to his sight and would actually quickly close the door, but a fallen credit stopped it's closing....it seemed maybe a single credit would grant her freedom

Desmond smelled the perfume in the air. It was toxic, he was surrounded by beautiful women, but he only had eyes for one. He marched through the half naked dancers and watched as the woman attempted to hide behind flimsy wooden doors, as if that would stop him. When he had an eye for what he wanted he would not stop till he hit his target. He marched to the door and opened it. The girl sat before him and he simply eyed her for a moment. Rose bud lips, slim figure, and a heart shaped face. She was even more intoxicating than the perfume. Desmond reached a hand towards her, afraid if he touched her he might somehow ruin her beauty, but unable to resist such an exotic individual. But, before he could lay a hand on her he was apprehended by a duo of bouncers.

“You’re outta here bud,” One of the bouncers growled.

“I have money, enough to make you all rich,” Desmond announced as they grabbed hold of his arms.

They ignored him and shoved his face to the ground. Desmond reached into his coat pocket and withdrew a large stack of credit sticks. He slammed them onto the ground as if they were a proclamation from god. It was Desmond’s spice savings. The money he would usually use to buy drugs, but Desmond thought this woman would make an honest man out of him. No, he knew. So, she was more than worth the gamble. The guards eyed the stack of cash hungrily. They released their grasp on the Chiss and he picked himself off the ground. He reached a hand to the woman then asked simply

“Run away with me?”

Was this how those princesses and stuff felt in those fairytales? The door fling open as she glanced to the shining credit that had blocked the doors closing...then up to the man as she moved back a bit, her blaster she had hidden within the room out of reach as she stood quiet

She was about to speak when the bouncers came in and grabbed the man, she looked between them as she moved a bit closer to her blaster hidden beneath the desk, what was this man thinking? He wasn't a police force no he didn't look so...then what was his obsession with her so suddenly? Poor sap who just wanted love?

More she got thinking she more she realized, this could be a way out, she looked to his credits as her eyes widened, bloody hell that was a lot for some man...she watched the bouncers leave with the credits as she gave a soft blush....this was it she could take it be gone away from herd...but at what risk?

i...i don't even know you yet-

She stopped....a imperial accent was strong in his voice...a traveling man from that part of the galaxy? Maybe this was a good idea

yes, yes I will run away with you

She had to make her own gamble and so here she was agreeing to leave with some chiss who she barely met yet it felt right like if she did this a whole new future would open up

Desmond took the Zeltron’s hand and led her through the crowded bar. The other dancers seemed to scoff at the woman and her choice to be free, but Desmond paid them no mind and he hoped Nisa wouldn't either. She was making the right choice and Desmond was sure she had a bright future in the Empire. They exited the club and Desmond withdrew a set of keys. He clicked a button and in the parking lot a speeder came to life. He opened the door for Nisa to enter and then hopped into the driver's seat afterwards. Desmond reached into the dash of the speeder and withdrew a small bag of spice. He tossed the drugs and hit the gas pedal. The wind raced through Desmond’s slick back hair and he eyed the woman inquisitively. He was wondering how much to tell her. He decided small talk was safe first.

“The names Desmond C’artyom. But, everyone calls me Desy,” He said in his Imperial accent with a smile. He looked to the woman again and a fit of passion overcame him. He felt an urge to kiss her. He suppressed the need and focused on driving. It had to be the pheromones. But, then why did he feel it only for her? Desmond would have to get his bio implant looked at....

She blinked, was this really happening? Was this man she just met this chiss leading her away from the life she simply only knew to a new one? She closed her eyes for a second the lights and crowd seemed to be nothing but background noise as her eyes opened to see the door open and the fresh air of the city nice and cool met her face as she looked around seeing the many people looking over at them or simply passing as they headed to his speeder. Once in she bukvlef and glanced to him seeing the spice...she watched him throw it away and fined it the wind blowing her hair back gently...this was happening...this really was....

uh...nisa...nisa luma I've no nicknames other then pink fire....my uh stage name they gave me....do you think we can stop at my place so I can gather a few things mostly personal items

She said politely as she looked at him, she wanted to kiss him and thank him over and over but she held back for she didn't know him yet...she felt now like she owed her life to him

Desmond nodded, Nisa. It was a very exotic name. He enjoyed it. He nodded and without thinking took the woman's hand and placed it on his datapad. He often did this when IDing criminals or apprehending suspected felons in the Empire. It read her signature and came up with an address. It was a signature device issued to all Imperial agent's, so that they may better recognize suspects. He raced through the city, avoiding traffic and taking back alleys. He stopped by the woman's apartment and parked outside the building. He would walk her to the steps and patiently await her at the apartment entrance.

She nearly jumped when he suddenly grabbed her hand. Then stopped confused as she looked to be data pad and slowly moved her hand away...confirmed one thing this man defiantly was part of the richer imperial folk...she sat back as she watched him skip the major traffic through different alley ways

Once they arrived to her house she got out and looked to hin...this was her last chance to call it birthday she couldn't do it but every ounce if her being pushed her to stay her course. She enteref as she started gatherimg clothing , credits, and a picture of her parents and a necklace before she came out and nodded so that they got in again

Once in she decided to ask

your imperial aren't you

Desmond heard the woman’s question and simply nodded. He grabbed hold of her bags and put them in the trunk then got in after her.

“I am a Imperial. I also work for the Empire’s secret service...“ Desmond said not sure how much more he should tell her.

“I believe they can offer you a position in our ranks if you want,” He drove the speeder to the spaceport and into a docking bay.

He parked the craft than withdrew his datapad. He pressed a few buttons and then a ship would appear seemingly out of thin air. It was an Imperial stealth bomber. As the ship materialised Desmond grabbed hold of Nisa’s hand once again and led her into the ship.

“This is it. If you want to stay, you’ll need to say so now,” Desmond said curious as to what the woman’s next words would be. He hoped with all his heart she would climb into the cockpit with him and they might fly away together.

[member="Desmond C'artyom"]

Least he confirmed that, but he also let her know a bit more...he was part of the imperial secret service? She was baffled say the least, either he was drunk or he really really felt he could trust her. Next part shocked her, a job? In the secret service of the Empire?! She put a hand in he thread feeling a bit dizzy at loss of word even

Only thing that snapped her out of it was the speeder finally stopping, then suddenly a shop materializing out of thin air before her eyes. She grabbed her stuff and was led in, she then stoop as she looked to him...last chance she could back up away go back to a normal life

No

That word echoed in her mind as she stopped confident and spoke it

no, I won't, I'm gonna go with you...i feel it's the best thing

Without thinking, she kissed his lips but quickly then back as she gave a grin...this was a start of a new chapter

Desmond listened to Nisa as she echoed the words he had hoped to hear. It was a surprise, but a welcome one to be sure. Satisfied with her answer Desmond turned to walk to the cockpit, but in a moment she was on him. She gave him a peck on the lips and Desmond found that familiar intoxicating scent ravishing. As she parted he grabbed hold of her and brought her closer to him. He wasn’t done yet. His chapped lips, met soft plump rosebuds and in that moment he found bliss in kissing her again.

His lips caressed hers greedily as he sought more of her. His hands moved to her hips and he pulled her closer. He felt the curves of her body and couldn’t stop. He had found a high more intoxicating than spice, than flying. He had always wanted to be free and felt flying was the closest he'd ever get to it. But, now, as he embraced Nisa he knew that wasn’t true. That this woman was paradise. He felt alive and his hands sought more of her. He couldn't take it.

“Is this okay?” He asked huskily between kissing her.
