Beyond these layers of façade is her true self: A small woman, refined by war yet with a soul of rage and fear.
- Name: Lorayn Gravemind
- Alias: "The Gravemind" (Hrabe'tkiyir)
- Loyalties: The Kainate, Death Watch remnants
- Wealth: As an accomplished member of The Artificer's guild, Lorayn has become wealthy through commissioning arms and armor to various officials and assassins alike. While not considered Imperial "Elite" like her customers, it is enough to maintain the cult, and therefore enough for her.
- Notable Possessions:
- Suit of Tal'beskar Armor

- Masterful Warsmith
- Veteran Warrior
- Leader of Soldiers
- Languages:

Ultimately she is the one who must prepare Mandalorians of the Kainate for the harsh realities of the galaxy and Sith Empire alike. Lorayn favors the strong, and those in favor are well looked after. Those not in favor are refined like a blade; Till they are sharp, or broken. There is no sadistic joy in this way of life, not like the sith she must prepare them to coexist with, but rather, a sense of duty.
- Weapon of Choice: Gravity hammers and other Melee weaponry
- Combat Function: Melee specialist & Commander
- Force Abilities:
- Latent Force-Walking
- Limited Sith Alchemy
- Deathspeaker: Though limited, Lorayn has learned to communicate with Force Ghosts to expand her own knowledge through Force-Walking, though is yet to bind a ghost unwillingly.
- Heavy handed: Trained by Mandalorian warriors, Lorayn has become quite proficient in the arts of Melee combat and similarly skilled with pistols.
- Ancient Technique:: Through lessons from the Dead and her upbringing by Mandalorians, Lorayn has become adept in the workings of Beskar and many other metals.
- Versatility: Having studied primarily in the ways of artisans and Warsmiths, Lorayn has developed only a select few skills in the Art of War. While by no means incapable, She lacks in the versatility that more War-like Mandalorians may demonstrate.
- Unready: Having only recently expanded her studies beyond ancient Mandalorian mystics, Lorayn has only the barest control over her own abilities, of which none are battle oriented.
- Ghosts of the Past: Having little experience in Force Walking, Lorayn lacks the experience required to forcibly bind more Ghosts to her body without risking outright possession.
They called her "Gravemind". A Bpfasshi girl from a family she'll never know, whose legacy had already faded. They found her on a broken ship, wearing a slave's collar, hiding among the dead and caged. They brought her to Roon first, and then to Kestri. She was raised in a culture that she did not understand, by armored men she had never met until leaving that ship, and then dragged into a war that she did not wish to fight. Anger and Fear boiled and then threatened to explode, and with it came stories; of how the girl saw ghosts where only air remained, And when they ridiculed her, their lungs were nearly robbed of that very air.
They took her to the Seers then, and that was the day she became one of them: A Mandalorian.
Few or learned enough to teach the one they named "Gravemind", but one taught her to focus and speak with that ghost again. He was an ancestor from long ago, come to guide his last remaining relation, Desperate and frightened as she was.
And he was not the last.
The Mandalorians argued among themselves, some proclaiming that she must learn the Seer's ways so that even the words of dead men could not be forgotten, But others claimed that the Seers were such a young tradition, and that the Armorers sacred craft had earned the right of remembrance long ago. No ghostly Seer came to weigh in, but an Armorer long dead, bearing the name "Kyron" had more to say. It was decided then that She would learn from those ghosts still bound to the city of Tor Valum, and carry on the ancient artistry of their people.
It took years, but the girl learned quickly, and put the passion of many generations into her work.
Having lived up to her name, the young aspiring Warsmith preferred keeping company with the Dead more than she did the living. All the while becoming bitter at the taste of politics and fighting among her own people.
That was when she approached the girl.
Not a ghost, but not quite living. No longer human, but not yet a Demon. Apollyon the Betrayer had come to say her piece. The old traitor was careful and deliberate with her words, appealing to the hatred and anger that festered within. Mandalore had grown decedent, and paid the iron price, or so the girl had been persuaded. And as long as the weak were allowed to rule through petty politics and boasted of their own vanity, Mandalorians would continue to rise and fall with nothing to show for it. So it was, and so it had been since the dawn of Mandalorian history.
She traveled to Coruscant with her, where these strange new Mandalorians taught her to forge the Accursed metal: Tal'beskar.
They taught her that the weak must sacrifice to make others strong. That it was the duty of the strong- those with the will to invite change- must sacrifice others to do great things. Great things, such as the survival of their own kind. Nature was cruel and unforgiving, so she became like nature to survive time's flow.
New face came and went, Even the Betrayer herself was killed in that secret place, but the Ghosts stayed. They showed her an escape, and so she survived to continue Apollyon's legacy, and the legacy of all those who died in the steel tunnels beneath Coruscant. Maybe she wasn't fit as her warlike brothers, nor gifted in the force like her sisters, But she was determined. She was cunning. She was stronger.
