Backstory: The Calimondra Dynasty has existed in various state of prosperity since the Republic Dark Age. During those ancient times, led by their matriarch Vilia Calimondra the Sith family carved out an empire for themselves. Children were born, and in time, they were pitted against one another by their mother to prove their worthiness to inherit her titles and domain. Two such conflicts were fought, known as the Charge Matrica, that led to the death of many members of the family but the growth of the Empire. But as all things do, the Calimondra Empire fell to the perils of time, sending the last surviving members of the dynasty into hiding across the breadth of the galaxy. Most of them died out, but a few found new homes.
On the world of Exaltus, one of these groups of Calimondra slowly rebuilt themselves. The mighty armies they once commanded spread across the world, settling into vast cities and nations each ruled by the various children of the family. In time, a third Charge Matrica was fought, leading to the death of all but three members of the Calimondra family. Not long after this, a small clan of Sith Purebloods found Exaltus, and in need of new stock to continue the family, they were welcomed to Exaltus. Many more generations were born from this union, and every few decades, a new Charge Matrica would be fought to see which member of the current generation would come to dominate the world and family.
This continued for countless centuries, with temporary interstellar nations being forged, before the limited resources of Exaltus were pushed back. The most prevalent and hopeful of these reemergence's happened just before the Gulag Plague, which in turn ended these hopes at empire. The fall of this most recent attempt led to a new Charge Matrica to be fought, further decimating the dwindling resources of Exaltus. It was in to this setting that Odion Calimondra was born.
Named after an ancient member of the family, Odion Calimondra proved early on to be a strong contender for the leadership of the family. Gifted in his connection to the Force, talented in his combat prowess, and lethal in his imagination, he quickly gathered many followers among his weaker cousins. When the time came for the new Charge Matrica to be fought, he stepped into the conflict eagerly. Many of his family fell to his blade, including many of his followers when his victory became a certainty. Unlike in the past, when the victorious Calimondra heir would install his supporters into positions of power, Odion decided he would be the only victor.
Any Calimondra of note was killed, though a few Odion found too useful to waste were kept alive. Over the bones of his defeated enemies, he laid out his goals for a new direction. The Charge Odion, a closely guarded secret Odion would reveal only to his closest supporters and confidants. With this new goal and unity, he set out to begin laying the groundwork for his grand plan.
