In the heart of Ryloth's bustling capital, amidst the elegant spires and shimmering lights that painted the evening sky, Chancellor Loam Frey Fenn stood at the edge of the ancient Plaza. His presence commanded respect, his corpulent figure framed against the backdrop of the historic Ruling Council building, where the fate of the Twi'lek people had been shaped for centuries.

Dressed in traditional Twi'lek robes of rich crimson, adorned with intricate gold embroidery that spoke of his esteemed office, Chancellor Fenn exuded an air of quiet authority. His lekku, adorned with silver rings denoting his station, swayed gently as he scanned the plaza with thoughtful amber eyes.

He had forged a powerful political bloc with Rodia and Geonosis to protect themselves from the encroaching Sith Order, backed up by the might of the Trade Federation of Planets.

"With the Slave Trade flourishing, we have an opportunity to reach out to other factions." the voice of the Chancellor said, to a nearby attendant. Ryloth's society was heavily influenced by the practice of slavery, and the New Ryloth Government made minimal efforts to address it, as it brought in significant revenue.

The modified Sheathipede-class transport shuttle named the 'Corporate Fang' exited from hyperspace around the system of Ryloth. The vessel was headed straight for the planet, its somewhat streamlined yet old-fashioned structure reflecting the light from the neighboring star.
Mugg had the opportunity to glance out the transparent window of the cockpit, observing the rough landscape of Ryloth expanding beneath them as the shuttle slowly descended towards the surface.
The shuttle arrived promptly in the Capital City, where The Corporate Alliance aimed to secure contracts with the local inhabitants and government. Rumors had circulated about a strong confederacy forming between Rodia, Geonosis and Ryloth in order to protect themselves from the large sith empire in the east of the galaxy, whose expansion was continuing unabated.
The Koorivar had no prior experience with a Sith lord, and prayed they would never encounter one due to their reliance on brute force tactics.
Upon the ramp unfolding, he caught sight of Loam Frey Fenn, the Chancellor of the Ryloth Government, standing in close proximity. He respectfully bowed to the planetary leader before retrieving a compact datapad from his attire.
"A thousand pardons, Chancellor Fenn. I am Magistrate Argentine of the Corporate Alliance." He explained.

The gentle murmurs of ion-boosted engines were audible from a considerable distance, as the Sheathipede-class transport shuttle gradually descended onto one of the numerous landing platforms dispersed throughout the Capital City and the historic plaza.

The Chancellor's stare was penetrating, brimming with a blend of inquisitiveness and distrust as they watched the shuttle's arrival, pondering whether they were a representative of the Sith Order, who would be well-informed about the emerging political alliance among the three systems.

Although there was a lack of logic in the aforementioned theory, considering the Sith Order's use of their own shuttle craft with distinct markings, instead the Chancellor leaned towards the belief that the person in question was affiliated with the Trade Federation of Planets.

In such a case, they would have been dispatched to supervise the industrial development of the planet and provide recommendations for enhancing the System's productivity, going beyond the mere practice of slavery.

The Twi'lek was further surprised, when Magistrate DELETE DELETE of the Corporate Alliance emerged from the shuttle. He had heard rumors that the Corporate Alliance had reformed itself, even purchasing the loyalty of a senator within the Galactic Alliance.

"Ah, Magistrate Argentine. We are quite surprised, that the reformed Corporate Alliance would take an interest in our humble system. But we are certainly glad, that you have came to meet with us." The Chancellor's deep, resonant voice conveyed a message of deference as he made a simple gesture of respect towards the Koorivar Magnate.

"Ryloth possesses a distinctive background, dating back to the era of the Ancient Confederacy of Independent Systems. The proximity of this system to the eastern borders of the sith empire has caught the attention of the Corporate Alliance, as we aim to gain a small foothold within that region." Mugg offer an explanation as he typed on the compact data pad in his hand, in order to display the galactic map. The Ryloth System was strategically located at the intersection of the Corellian Run and the Mara Corridor, providing a convenient stop for a diverse range of merchants and independent traders on their journey towards the Galactic Alliance frontier.
The Magistrate was hopeful that the Corporate Alliance could arrange a government contract with Chancellor Loam Frey Fenn, as it might enable them to secure a steady source of revenue by being a negotiating body for freighter crews and planetary governments heading up the hyper lane.
He believed that such a contract would not only benefit the Alliance financially but also strengthen their relationship with the government of Ryloth, who might be inclined to spread the word around.
"We are curious to know, if Ryloth receives lots of freighter and transportation traffic on the way up to the Galactic Alliance?" the Koorivar asked, wanting to see how much traffic was actually flowing through the region.

The Chancellor brought a hand to his corpulent chin, deep in thought as the Magistrate elaborated on the Corporate Alliance's interest in the Planet of Ryloth. Providing a detailed explaination that Ryloth's strategic location at the crossroads of the Corellian Run and the Mara Trade Corridor made it a prime target for the Alliance's expansionary efforts within the Sith Region.

Fenn found himself in a state of contemplation, carefully considering the possible consequences of the sudden fascination with the planet. He couldn't help but speculate whether their discussion might be disclosed to the Sith Order, leading to a swift response aimed at either seizing control of the planet or suppressing the emerging leadership.

There were certainly many political and economic ramifications to signing any agreement with the Corporate Alliance, but their independence from major galactic powers was an advantage in keeping Ryloth safe from conquest.

"It is evident, as you may have deduced, esteemed Magistrate. There is a significant amount of freighter and transportation activity passing through Ryloth towards the Galactic Alliance Borders, with an average of one hundred or more vessels being identified. Most of them are carrying raw materials for the Core War, which our benefactors in the Trade Federation have a keen interest in." Loam said towards the Koorivar, before gesturing them to depart from the plaza and accompany him towards the nearby Ruling Council's Palace, a fortified structure.

"By your lead." Mugg responded as the Chancellor led him away from the old square towards the fortified palace of the Ruling Council, which was naturally equipped with sufficient armaments to quell a minor uprising against the New Ryloth Government.
While strolling, the Koorivar felt content knowing that the planet was attracting a significant amount of freighter vessels, indicating potential trade disputes that could result in substantial profits for the Corporate Alliance when they acted as a third-party mediator.
"We are interested in forming a planetary trade agreement with your system. Of course we must acknowledge the Trade Federation's significant influence as your benefactor, but we believe we can offer valuable services without causing any displeasure to your superiors." Mugg revealed his genuine aspirations to the Twi'lek, realizing that transparency was key to building relationships with others. While the Corporate Alliance couldn't rival the Trade Federation directly, they could offer alternative advantages.
