For those of you who expressed interest in helping with the test-run of the Lore section in GUIDE this is the open thread for questions, comments, and other things.


There are a lot of things that can be done to streamline the LORE section and I've only hammered out the bares bones of it. Some things I want to expand upon:

• Main entry types for Lore - what sort of Lore articles are people looking to submit?
• How to best codify a Lore article - what sort of references and resources will be required?
• The templates - what are we missing? What don't we need? What needs to be changed?

Love it. I'd also suggest a dedicated template for the history of specific planets or locations, unless something like that already exists and I didn't notice it.

I'm loving it so far! Is there a submission for long-gone historical figures, or is that already set up somewhere?

Hmm, dont have one specifically for people. You would choose Lore over just doing a historical NPC sub in codex?

Ill be getting up a massive amount on Kesh soon, both Chaos Lore and canon.

Should i use a History or planet template?

You can do both. Historical LORE for the planet would be subbed in the lore section and then linked in the planet article

Much like how the Factory and Codex works, you choose which template works best for your particular article then post it up in a new thread with the Article's title as the thread title. GUIDE Scribes will look over the article, check for proper spelling and grammar and that all resources are in order before publishing it to GUIDE.

This section of GUIDE is open and ready to take in articles. Please feel free to pose any questions/comments/suggestions here. GUIDE is still very much in development stage and I'm looking to iron out the kinks before it goes fully public to the forum.

Feel free to make submissions to other areas of GUIDE as well!

[member="Rave Merrill"] - I might suggest putting in an article for your Lightside Based alchemy studies and linking to your one thread. Even your Vaapaad Lesson could be an article stub! I'd also love to see articles on past-factions like the Vagrant Fleet or the Fringe. Sky is the limit really.

Edit: What template would be best for full planet breakdowns
