Grace Darkson
G O R G O N
Grace was not having a good day.
The Galactic Alliance's slaughter on Atrisia had left her with little but her ship and a hope that she could avoid capture. Whether out of spite or in some attempt to capture her, the scutta had damaged the thrusters. While she was no mechanic, she was sure that she could get repairs somewhere between her and wherever the fleet was headed.
Ession. She had met the Dark Lord there, it made sense that they would meet up there as well. Hopefully she could make it that far without the ship dying on her. Maybe. If she was lucky. Every few seconds there would be a screech like the sound of rending metal, and she worried something was wrong with more than just the sub light engines. A worried sigh escaped her, and she stood from the pilot's chair.
You know this was a mistake.
Grace froze as the voice echoed in her brain. "You know you're dead, right?" She responded. Sometimes it seemed like her former roommate forgot that. "And even if you were right, I'm still alive." Sitting at her table, she studied the charts there. Maybe there was something close she could stop by. Hapes? No, too many questions. Onderon? They may not have the right parts. Plus, she doubted they'd sell to her.
You're not home safe yet. Tessa replied, What happens if the damage is worse than you thought?
"Than I die." The casual nature of her statement seemed to throw the spirit off. "But I don't plan on that. I'm about to run out of supplies. I can make it to Telos. From there it's a couple repairs. And if worst comes to worst, just a shuttle to Ession."
Yet another risk you're willing to take.

As the ship exited hyperspace, Grace stared down at the churning mass of clouds above blue waters down below. Looking back to the control panel, and then back to the planet, she could feel part of her spirit fall. This wasn't Telos, no matter what the Navcomputer said. there should be at least some traffic up here, not just the empty space devoid of both ship and station. Had she stumbled onto some backwater?
Looks like you broke the Navcomputer.
"Thanks,Tess. I hadn't noticed." With an eye roll, the woman started to bring the ship towards the planet, aiming as best she could to arrive near to one of the cities. Maybe she could get some help.
As the ship made a somewhat rough landing she sighed, standing from the seat and heading towards the exit ramp. The sensors showed a group of lifeforms nearby, but she wasn't sure she could trust it. Still, she carried what she had for weapons. The blaster strapped to her hip was less of a comfort than the metal cylinder on her belt. With a small smile, she stepped onto the soil of this new world.
