Beyond Broken
Here is the Military command structure of the LoTF Army. It is based off the Roman Legion system with subtle changes.
Archon- Commander of all the Regular legions. Makes all decisions of Promotion and is the chief military adviser to the Grand Executors
Legate- Commands a Legion and is responsible for the units operations and well being as whole. Several years of faithful service.
Broadband- Serves under a Legate and is responsible for the legions logistical and military operations. Puts out and executes orders from the Legates.
Praefect- Third in Command of the Legion. The Praefect is the chief disciplinarian of the Legion. The Praefect also is the chief trainer and supervisor of day t day activities.
Centurion- Leads a company of troops within the legion. The Centurion is the veteran warrior who gets his hand dirty while leading the charge.
Optio- The leader of a squadron or Fireteam within the company. A hands on professional warrior with some experience in warfare.
Tessera- A specialist within a squadron. Is highly trained in a specific task or artifice f warfare. Many tesseras are Sappers or heavy weapons crewmen.
Trooper- Recruit, green and still getting a feel for the art of war. Serves as the primary soldier and fighting might of the legion.
