Love is Blind

The Eternal Queen
Feena took pride in her children. They were, in essence, an extension of herself. So of course, when she saw one of her little ones struggling on one aspect, she took it upon herself to nudge (shove) him in the right direction.

"Cyril," Feena said gently, leading her son through the Palace halls, "This young lady is the bastard daughter of one of my oldest contacts. Do you understand? I need you to show her a good time tonight. Be a perfect gentleman, because if you aren't...."

She didn't need to say what would happen. She smiled to herself. This was perfect. She could set her boy up on a date under the guise of needing him to simply entertain a friends daughter. Make him think he was doing her a favor, instead of the other way around.

"Oh! There she is."

The girl was pretty. Honestly, if she wasn't future wife material, Feena was going to have a hard time finding someone else to suit her sons tastes. And eventually give her grandchildren. Perhaps.

"I'll leave you two kids to it then. I have a lot of work to do."

Naboo never changed. Graxin, or Cyril if you were privy to the royal family, always took time to return when it was possible. It was as close to a home as the Jedi Master had -- Ossus provided little comfort, and Ession was too militarized to be relaxing. He'd arrived a day before to check on his little sister [member="Felicity Mason"].

He'd been enjoying the gardens when his mother came asking for assistance.

"So you just need me to keep her busy for a bit?" He asked quietly as they walked along. He had no idea that this was another of the Queen's machinations.

"I can try to do that. Afraid I'm not too versed in Naboo's social customs though." He ran a hand through his short raven hair, and breathed a quiet sigh. "It'll be a learning experience."

Clad in Jedi robes identical to his battle armor save for the lack of a helmet or phrik plates, Graxin looked very much the healer he was at heart. It was lovely to get off of the battlefield, but he was feeling a bit vulnerable in the aristocratic environment of Theed. That was nothing new; the social nuances of the city were lost to him.

"Okay, but-"

And then Feena was gone. Whatever important business the Queen needed to deal with had better be worth it.

The Jedi approached the woman with a hint of caution. He offered a small somewhat uneasy smile, and held up a hand.

"Hello. I'm Graxin, or Cyril if you're close to the family. Lovely to meet you."
