STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Even-tempered. Loxa maintains a level head through dire straights. She's perceptive and keen on details. She has a mind for direction and directives..
Withdrawn. Loxa has a difficult time connecting with others. Not out of fear or a resentment, but she simply lacks the scope of Basic vocabulary to hold full and comprehensive conversations with the majority of people she meets. Loxa also struggles with trusting others - a byproduct of the foundation of slavery that formed her youth.
Uneducated. Due to her early start in life as a Slave and the many subsequent years within that role, Loxa Visl did not receive a proper or orthodox education. She cannot read or write in basic or do arithmetic, aside from Pacean, the most else she knows are the symbols and lines learned for Dathomiri sorcery. Loxa is capable of piloting a smaller, basic ship on her own due to memorization of the standard symbols utilized across a broad swath of civilian type crafts for their command and operating consoles. Though she can speak basic, it is broken at best and she often struggles to communicate with others. She's fluent in several dialects of Pacean spoken amongst the Dathomiri Witch Clans, as well as Ancient Sith.
Mighty. Something to prove. She couldn't stand to be a burden on anyone therefore it is highly difficult for her to ask anyone for help. Loxa has garnered several decades of experience among the stars with her sisters. Having visited some of the most rank and inhospitable stars, moons, planets, and beyond she still maintains a persistent willingness to learn from anyone willing to teach her.
Highly affluent in Force sorceries. Once her affinity to the Force was discovered in her teens, she was freed from her chains and taken in by the Witch Elders to learn and train. Loxa was touted as a natural and she took to the art of their powers with an uncanny affinity and familiarity - though she couldn't quite say where it came from. Despite her other shortcomings, or perhaps in-spite of them, Loxa quickly excelled and rose through the ranks, becoming one of the youngest in her generation to Master the skills of the Dathomiri Witches.
APPEARANCE:
At first glance Loxa is an unassuming and nonthreatening figure to contend with. Though well muscled and strong for her size, her musculature is more often than not covered up beneath layers of robes or loosely fitted clothing. Loxa's skin is marked with scars both from her years spent as a slave and her years working abroad with all manner of heinous beasts. A hidden array of many blood-trailed tattoos can be seen only when she actively uses her powers: they glow a bright luminescent white when they appear. Her hair is a medium brown in color and shorn along the sides while the remaining hair along the top is just to chin length. Her eyes are likely the most distinguishing feature of the witch: a vibrant glowing golden hue framed by three hideous scars across her face. Loxa's rough but youthful appearance can be misleading - she's older than she looks, but only just.
BIOGRAPHY:
Not much is known about Loxa Visl because Loxa Visl knows very little about herself. She was sold into slavery at a very young age, and though she doesn't seem to have suffered...much, she doesn't talk about her time as a slave. Though not born on Dathomir, Loxa spent most of her youth on that planet and could not tell you her birth location if she tried. Dathomir was where she started her memorable life as a slave. Most of those years she's blocked from her memory for various and obvious reasons, so when asked about her youth she typically begins on the day her powers were discovered by a Dathomiri Witch.
Her formative years with the Witches went mostly uneventful, so far as origin stories go. She gained experience and scars, memories and goals. Having attained the rank of Witch Elder at the very young age of 22, she spent the next thirty years of her life roving out into the galaxy with several of her sisters who pined for greater adventure and renown. Loxa found her niche in the taming of force-afflicted beasts: namely Sithspawn, and was contracted out by various factions and entities to do just that. On her most recent jaunt out into the wilds, she discovered a curious metal staff ... and now she's having strange dreams of a life she never lived.
