Name: Loxley
Affiliation: Mala Arar
Role: A Guardian for Mala, who is...quite delicate, and frankly can use all the help she can get. She also serves as a source of companionship for the Sith Acolyte, as one of the few living creatures she cares deeply for.
Age: 3 Years Old
Species: Kobarian Swamp Dog
Appearance: Loxley is a beautiful young Swamp Dog, with a lovely green coat and purple tongue indicative of the species. Her fur is kept well groomed, and she has a healthy physique. Other than that, there's little to say on the Kobarian Canine's appearance.
Height: .508m from Paws to Withers
Length: .813m from Tip of Nose to tail
Weight: 28.57kg
Personality: Loxley takes after her owner - calm and collected, with a vague sense of hostility towards those around her - save her owner, of course. Like most Kobarian Swamp Dogs, she's incredibly loyal and obedient towards her caretaker, and, when not specifically commanded otherwise, sticks to Mala like glue.
Combat Functions: Being a canine, and a very protective one at that, Loxley acts in combat with a single goal; protecting herself and Mala. Being a Swamp Dog of Kobaria, Loxley's got excellent endurance and stamina; she can take quite the beating. Of course, being a swamp dog of Kobaria, she's also subject to the greatest weakness dogs possess; they're not very bright. Tactics, strategy, and planning are all lost on this lovable guard dog. For obvious reasons, she's also not much use against anything heavily armed or armored. But against foes of flesh and bone, this Kobarian Canine is brutally effective.
History: Loxley was given to Mala Arar as a gift for her 20th birthday, and the Sith-to-be was enamored by the hound from the moment she laid eyes on it. A Kobarian Swamp Dog, after all, was everything that Mala wanted in a constant companion - aesthetically pleasing, undyingly loyal, hardy, and, most importantly, too dumb to question her commands. Mala raised her hound - who she named Loxley - from birth, and while she raised the pup with love, few would call Loxley's upbringing "Pampered;" she was to be Mala's guardian, after all, and so Mala trained her as such. Hunting vermin in the streets of Lower Coruscant was a favorite past-time of the duo, as were other, more traditional activities - fetch, tug-of-war, and the like.
