Strengths
Marksman - Though long retired from active duty, Luca maintains an impressive ability to bullseye a wamprat from two metres.
Tactician - Chess became more than a hobby to Luca in his retirement, the ability to think two or three steps ahead becoming second nature in his endless strive to be better. This is obviously applicable in many other ways, but for Luca it's always chess. Chess and ships.
Intellect - Luca was subject to only the finest education, and studied hard to impress his father. He walked away from fancy education with top grades and went on to study science at a higher level.
Money - Depending on who you ask, wealth is useful. Money can buy things, like protection and access and fancy cloaks.
Weaknesses
Sheltered - Even as a soldier, Luca was always sheltered. He saw how other people lived but he never much cared. Everyone he surrounded himself with lived a similar life to him and they always enjoyed the finer things in life. Luca has never really gone without the luxuries, which to him are necessities.
Soldier's Life - Luca has lived much of his life in combat and serving in different ways. He's picked up the list of injuries that tend to come with the career of a soldier, and age on top means that Luca doesn't move like he once used to.
Charasmatic - Charasmatic, Luca is not. He is blunt and to the point will say things as they are. He's unlikely to talk people into seeing his point of view.
Money - Depending on who you ask, wealth has it's negatives. It makes you centre of attention, everyone wanting some of what you have to offer.
