STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
APPEARANCE:
Lujoo is a rather short, youthful-looking Twi'lek. Like every member of her species, she has two lekku that sprout from the back of her head, although they are notably shorter than many other pure-blooded Twi'leks. Her skin is a pale, soft blue, as are her eyes. Overall, she is small and light and can be described as "runty" in comparison to anyone else her age. Most days, she covers up in a plain coat, pants, and a headband encompassing her lekku as a rest for her goggles.
BIOGRAPHY:
Lujoo's history isn't exactly complicated, nor is it entirely uncommon on Coruscant. It's just unfortunate.
Being born in a Core world should have given her a good start in life. Coruscant, the crown jewel of the Republic, seems like a paradise on the surface, but anyone living there below the sun line knows better. Lujoo was expected by a young Twi'lek couple for quite some time. Due to unsanitary conditions on the lower levels, her mother had trouble getting a child to term. That was why she was given the name Lujoo, meaning precious. Other than that, the situation was agonizingly average. Poor, trapped, and trying to survive.
That was, until her father started working a mysterious job to pay bills. At first, everything went fine. Credits came in and the lights stayed on. Food was put on plates. Little Lujoo had no idea what was going on, but she knew her parents argued far too often for it to be good. Eventually, her mother took Lujoo and left. In any other story, events may have unfolded in a mundane way. A make-up or permanent separation. But not this one. As it would turn out, her father had turned to organized crime to obtain money. And with any crime situation, things were bound to turn sour.
Sooner rather than later, some thugs came looking for Lujoo and her mother to get back at her father for something he'd done. When her mother resisted capture to protect her daughter, they simply blasted her to the ground. "More where that came from," they said. Lujoo never really understood xenophobia before that moment, but she would always remember those words and those that followed. They talked about Lujoo as she hid, discussing what they'd do with her. Would they put her to work or just sell her off under the table? Ship her offworld or risk Coruscanti law enforcement?
In the end, when they found her, they were severely disappointed. By her age, she should have grown her lekku twice as long as they were. Apart from that, she was also gangly and small. Still, their boss had orders, so they grabbed her, kicking and screaming up until a blaster was aimed at her. At this point, she was only ten. This was where she was taught to pickpocket and scam for cash. In exchange for service, she was promised safety and food. It wasn't much, but she always reminded herself it was more than what her mother got.
One day, a droid broke down a few years into her veritable exploitation. Lujoo had taken to watching people on the street with their tools and trades. As the shopkeep was about to throw the thing out, she waved at him and asked if she could try helping him fix it. With how tiny the circuit panel was, only she could really reach in to repair the droid. Thankful for her help, the owner of the store offered to help her out in turn. After some negotations and measured payments, Lujoo was allowed to go. While the Rodian, named Qess Pringoff, would never say it, Lujoo had a feeling that she wasn't hard to bargain for. She was thirteen then.
From there, she got an apprenticeship with Qess. While he was kind enough to have helped her get out of crime before she was in too deep, he did make her work for credits rather than simply giving food and shelter. Even then, it was essentially just tips with how desperate business was. Still, she was happy to have someone looking out for her, as grumpy and aloof as Qess could be. For six years, she's worked with him and amassed a library of knowledge on everything technical. The only problem is... she wants more. Lujoo isn't satisfied just surviving day to day any longer.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
- Quick Learner: Lujoo has had to learn everything she knows the hard way. Having lost her family so young to a horrible tragedy, Lujoo is largely self-taught, although naturally observative. Uncannily, she can watch and replicate quite a bit as long as the example is good enough. Most of this applies to droid and blaster repair, which she is quite proficient in from sheer experience tinkering.
- Deft Hands: Being small has had its advantages. Her hands are skilled from years of messing with devices and picking pockets for credits. In the physical aspect, her hand-eye coordination is very quick, but there is also the knowledge aspect of application. With such a steady grip and fine motor control, you may very well be robbed blind.
- Self-Conscious: Being unusually stunted in her growth, Lujoo is very aware and embarrassed of her form. This leads her to put up a larger personality to make up for her size, as well as becoming easily upset when teased.
- Short Fuse: Unrelated to her self-esteem issues, Lujoo is a person who has little patience for... well, a lot of things. Incompetence, disrespect, bigotry, the list goes on. Having strong beliefs about the world, she isn't afraid to deal some stronger words or get up in someone's grill about something.
