APPEARANCE:
Lur is a Bothan woman, short in stature for most species of the galaxy. She has long black hair and piercing sky blue eyes. Her fur is gray with white colorings.

BIOGRAPHY:
Lur Kri’fula was born on Bothawui. Her parents were people of some regard. Her mother worked as an aid for a diplomat during the time of the CIS. Her father was a prominent attorney. Lur was mostly raised by nannies and other caretakers, though she was able to bond with her parents when they had the time. It turned out that Lur’s father was also a member of the oldest profession to their people, a spy. Using his wife’s access to information Mr. Kri’fula sold sensitive information to undermine the CIS.

Lur apprenticed under her father and became a lawyer. After making a bit of a nest egg with her father’s firm, Lur left to take on her true passion: fighting for the underdog. She built up a reputation as being able to take on the most daunting cases. Eventually she was able to take her own practice galaxy-wide. Philanthropic organizations covered most of her living and professional expenses as she completely abandoned practice for profit. After a short time doing these difficult cases she discovered that a good number of the cases involved non-humans living under human ruled governments. Sure some said they were fighting for all the citizens under their rule, but it rarely rang true.

Lur stopped taking cases of human’s no matter how desperate they seemed and formed her own philanthropic organization the Galactic Organization for Advancement of Non-Human Species or GOANS. As the public face of the organization Lur has expanded her focus from just law cases to the court of public opinion. She has taken to organizing protests and other gatherings designed to call attention to the plight of non-humans, fund raise and discuss solutions. She also has taken to the holonet in order to comment on the needs of non-humans, and the so-called atrocities of humankind.
