FATHER: Kerrick Car'Dann MOTHER: Ereen Car'Dann
FORCE SENSITIVE: No
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS:
Lurcano stands a little over 6 feet tall. He has a swimmers physique, and his body is lithe and well musceled. His eyes often have bags under them due to the fact that he is rarely able to get enough sleep at nights either from the night terrors or the insomnia. Despite the fact that his appearance suggest a quiet and drawn back personality, he is anything but. His voice is deep but not quite baritone, and his skin is a waxen grey. A traditional Tehk'la blade strapped to his waist, but not much else. He would be wearing a leather jerkin, with a type of belt running across his chest carrying all sorts of things including but not limited to currency, knives, etc. Gloves would also adorn his hands. His boots would be black, as would his pants.
BIOGRAPHY:
Lurcano was born to a common family in the home system of the Nagai. His family did not have very many expectations of him, and for this he was grateful. He also didn't have many family values drilled into him either. A hatred of all Tof, honor, respect. What every Nagai learned as a child. In the beginning of his life, nothing went to great for him. He was not very well liked due to his constant talkativeness and gullible nature. He often annoyed his school mates who at the time were much larger then himself. This accompanied by the fact that he was a rather frail child didn't bode well for him. He was an insomniac that could rarely find sleep, and the few hours of what should have been bliss that he did manage to find were haunted by night terrors. Things were not to great for him before he hit adolescence.
Lurcano was never much to impress, but thankfully once he began to mature; most of his problems went away. He grew quickly and was soon a fairly impressive specimen. He managed to curb his tongue, and spoke as little as he could amongst his peers which increased his popularity by a great deal. He did well in both his classes and in sports, but he wasn't the best in either of them. Despite his lack of major accomplishments, the one thing he always prided himself in was the fact that he was one of the only Nagai that was skilled in both; and of course, he had to let everyone know it. He got into many fights as a kid, and this was the only dark spot in what was otherwise a seemingly normal record. When it came time for him to leave what was the human equivlant of High School, Lurcano opted away from it. He instead chose to make something of himself.
In his spare time, Lurcano had been one to look all over the HoloNet. He had heard both good stories and bad, and was unsure of what to make of them. In such a large universe with so many things to do, he was both scarred out of his mind, and excited at all the posibilities before him. He didn't want to be just like everyone else before him. He didn't want to die unremembered, insignificant. So, he would do the only thing he could to immortalize himself even after death. Make his name known. Or at least, that is what he thought to himself as he boarded the first star ship out of there. In hindsight, it is easy to imagine yourself succesful in the future with thoughts of granduer. Yet it is anything but to make something out of said thoughts.
When Lurcano first arrived at the city of Nar Shaddaa, he had heard the stories and was not a stranger to the rumors that circled around the place. He hadn't dared tell his parents where his first destination was. Though they had to a certain extent blessed his trip, and even given him some credits to start him on his way; they weren't very likely to approve of him heading to Nar Shaddaa. He had heard the stories, everyone had. It was the criminal underbelly of the universe. All sorts of no doubt morally questionable things went on, whether it was prostitution, drug dealing, drinking, illegal fighting rings, gambling. You name it, it happened. Or so Lurcano had heard. Lurcano was anything but a saint, but some of the activities listed above were to extreme even for him to handle. No, Lurcano just wanted to have a bit of fun before he got down to buisness; that's all. And, what better place in all the universe to do it then Nar Shadda!
Lurcano's first day was great, one of the best days of his life. Upon arriving at the space port, which was even dirtier then Lurcano had expected, he asked for a good place for a "tourist" to go if one wanted to see the sights, enjoy themselves. He was promptly recomended to the Dragon Palace Casion. With no where else to go, and no plans on his mind he decided to give it a shot. He woke up in one of the most expensive suites in a nearby hotel, with various expensive liquours and other such things surrounding him. From what little he could remember of the events that had transpired the day before, he knew that he had won, a lot. All thoughts of grandeur aside, he resigned himself to a life of luxury and fun. Or so he thought.
If his first day on Nar Shaddaa was the best of his life, the second was undoubtedly the worst. He went to the gambling tables and promptly proceeded to lose everything that he had lost. He had gone from a man with no prospects, to a wealthy man, back down to a broke beggar. And that was the life of those who chose to make their home in the city of Nar Shaddaa. Some nights he slept in the gutter, others he screwed the highest class courtesans the criminal underworlds had all the while doing all sorts of drugs. Now, after nearly two years of the same routine, he was getting tired. He wanted something more from his life. It did not have to be something he was proud of, but anything would do. Over the years the ownership of Nar Shaddaa changed hands, and it was now controlled by a group the Red Ravens. Perhaps he would start there, after all. What else could he do with his life to muck it up even more?
