A plant based, single-celled organism born of force alchemy, created by the ancient Je'daii in the years before the force wars. The Lushi are force attuned beings grown from the souls of fallen lifeforms that live for thousands of years, consuming the force energy contained within their gelatinous forms until all the energy within is used up, at which point it will die. The Je'daii would form force bonds with these life forms, commanding them to take the form of blades not to dissimilar to force-imbued blades, able to shift to the preference of the wielder. The use of Lushi in combat was seen as a taboo by many Je'daii, the harnessing of souls after the passing of beings being frowned upon. Still, a select number of families retained the tradition, with wielders of Lushi feeding their force essence to the being on their deathbed before the organism passed to the care of their descendants. Limited knowledge on the creation process of these beings and the many cataclysms that ravaged the surface of Tython has made the Lushi incredibly rare, forgotten by most modern force traditions.
This Lushi was recovered from an ancient Je'daii ruin, having been forged by a member of their order in an age long passed and kept alive by those who inherited the blade until being abandoned. It found its way to the hands of a criminal organization who held a young girl named Loomi captive as a slave, using her small size for theft and infiltration. Eventually, when properly awaking her Force abilities in responce to being subjected to the pain of losing her legs, Loomi accidentally killed her captors in an act of self defense. She took the Lushi with her upon her escape, wielding it as her favored blade in battle. It's housed in a duraplast gourd and wielded by an ironwood hilt, adorned in rope and chromium.
The organism has been endearingly nicknamed 'Lil' Fella' by the young Godoan.
