The LX4 Anti-Personnel Droid Cannon was developed by Loymière Shipwright as a cheap but effective anti-personnel vehicle. Its original purpose was to put down worker revolts within factories and other industrial sites but later expanded its role to cover the anti-personnel market due to being cheap enough to mass produce. The Cannon comes equipped with laser reflective armor in its more vulnerable joints but is considerably weak to heavy firepower from proper tanks and enemy artillery. It is built to be small and compact which allows it to fit into buildings and other structures that need clearing of an enemy force. Although to save cost the defense of the cannon is rather low allowing it to be destroyed in a few hits of a heavy blaster rifle. It can be modified with other parts but it is best used as a anti-personnel weapon.
