- Noble Birth: Lydia was born into the Noble House of Brandes, whose members comprise some of the most notable artists, poets, and musicians oh Naboo. Her status affords her a great deal of privilege and respect on Naboo, especially since the return of the inherited monarchy.
- Famously Artistic: After leaving the Royal University of Naboo, Lydia went on to become a classical singer, performing mostly in operas across the galaxy. Before retiring from performances, she became something of a galaxy-wide celebrity among fans of the arts.
- Sneaky: Lydia was also briefly rumored to be connected to CIS Intelligence operations, particularly during her tours to other parts of the galaxy. While these rumors are "totally unfounded" and "how dare you suggest such a thing"
she is actually quite efficient at uncovering secrets. - Party Animal: Part of the reason Lydia's musical career came to an end was her penchant for throwing extravagant parties that often got out of hand. Her heavy use of the death sticks during this time also all but ruined her singing voice, forcing her into retirement. She has kept her penchant for scandalous affairs since retiring.

APPEARANCE:
Lydia has pale ivory skin with a pink flush around the cheeks. Her hair is thick and curly and naturally the color auburn, but is frequently dyed a number of exotic colors to match her gowns. Her eyes are piercing light blue. She has a slender womanly figure and a shy, unbecoming smile.
BIOGRAPHY:
Lydia was born into the Noble House of Brandes, a historic house on the planet Naboo famous for the great number of artists, poets, and musicians it produced. In Naboo's history, there was almost always a member of the Brandes family present on the Queen's Advisory Council to help advise the monarch on matters of art and music. Lydia attended the Royal University for the Arts where she studied music. Upon graduation, she was sponsored by several wealthy Naboo to travel the galaxy and perform in operas. For 18 years she was one of the most prolific classical performers in the galaxy and amassed a large following. However, due to her indulgent behavior, her career was cut short after she sustained damage to her vocal cords.
Lydia returned to Naboo after retirement and upon her return was asked by the incoming Queen to join her advisory council as Minister for the Arts.
