Lymsleia is a nomadic, Force Sensitive young woman who operates mainly in the Outer Rim.
Lym's early years are murky, until her adoption as a toddler. Taken in on Dubrava by an older woman, Lym was raised as something between student and granddaughter. Nana Kae raised her single-handedly over the following years, in a remote and rural part of the world. As part of her education, Lym would accompany Kae on her 'visits' to other communities, where her Nana would help those who needed helping. From injuries and illnesses to arguments and anger, Kae seemed to have a solution to everything hidden up her sleeve. Whether it was a stern word, a moment's touch or a drop of something in your drink, Nana Kae somehow knew the best way to overcome anything that could effect a small community.
As Lym grew older, her Nana recognised the telltale signs of Force Sensitivity and began to train her, in much the same way she'd been trained long ago. A series of lessons began, drawing on Kae's own training when she'd been a padawan. A quick and diligent learner, Lym started to harness the Force with skill and use it. As she grew older, lessons grew more complex. Unfortunately, Kae's age started to catch up with her. Not long after Lym's 19th birthday, Nana Kae passed away. Leaving behind her small amount of belongings, including an old lightsaber, Lymsleia chose to leave Dubrava for a time to explore the Outer Rim, to continue her training the in the Force and explore how others can be helped.
Charitable, caring and chatty, Lymsleia is the embodiment of Nana Kae's teachings and training. Curious beyond all reason, she'll pursue her interests beyond all consideration for safety or sense. Being raised in the shadow of such a prominent figure in their community has left Lym desperate to step out on her own and prove herself. Much to her guardian's chagrin, Lym grew to love wordplay, puns and terrible jokes. She is completely unable to resist making bad jokes in most situations.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Curious: Always wanting to see and learn more. Voracious reader. Middling documentary watcher.
Kind-hearted: Looks out for others. Empathetic and nice when she's meant to be. Sneaks sweets to children.
Force Training: Trained by a Jedi. Informal but impressive. Able to shape and use the Force as needed, to some extent.
Pun Enthusiast: Unable to resist a joke. Groan worthy. Will ruin friendships for the right joke.
Sweet Addiction: Constantly has a bag of sweets in her pack. Bad for her but good for morale. The sourer, the better.
Tiny Droid Appreciator: Loves a good scout droid. Wants one as a pet/helper/friend. Makes weird, squeaky-cute noises when she sees one.
Inexperienced: Her training was eccentric and incomplete. Only lived in rural areas. Never had to deal with much danger.
Easily Frustrated: Natural talent comes with costs. Whatever takes effort to learn is super frustrating. Has a pout like you wouldn't believe.
Poor Duelist: Lightsaber training wasn't really on the cards. Knows some basic forms, but that's it. Could maybe slice something without chopping her own hand off.
