The M-R Flight Helmet is a member Morris Munitions equipment range for space flight. It acts as a direct link to the ships databanks, allowing it to interface with the navi-computer, sensors, shield integrity and many other features commonly found in vessels.
The link is activated via a cord, transmitting data instantaneously to the flight helmet. The computing chip within the helmet comprehends the data input and flow, transmitting it to the visual field that is placed over the eyes, and translates the data so that it is easier to read and understand, while optimizing the location of the data on the HUD for maximum efficiency for everyday flights and dogfights.
The internal processes record and track eye movement, using it as an interface for information. Users are required to perform simple tricks such as squinting, or blinking at intervals, to access and manage data.
Due to the visor blocking sight beyond the HUD, the uplink provides a visual of the cockpit and beyond using the ship sensors. Warnings and labels inform clients that it is recommended that if ship sensors are interfered that pilots should remove the flight helmet as the visual feed may post false data.
